Perhaps there is an app that is offering some sort of special offer to a particular device or brand of devices, and you are one of the unfortunate ones who does not have said brand or device.
Well, if either of these scenarios has happened to you, then there is something you can do about it without shelling out more money on another device. Device Spoofer allows you to spoof your device to make it appear to be a completely different device. It's as easy as:
1. Backup your current device info.
2. Select a device to spoof.
3. Press "Spoof Selected Device".
Device Spoofer contains an ever growing database of devices and with the help of other users that database can stay up to date and contain all the information needed to spoof just about any other Android device.
**FYI**
For the market to see your device as the newly spoofed one, you must download an app from the market first. Once you do that the device seems to get registered under your account and will then show up as the spoofed device.

IT DEFINETLY DID SOMETHING AS I HAVE MORE APP IN STORE. STILL NEEDS WORK ON AS IM STILL NOT SEEING SIX GUNS AND FINAL FANTASY RECORD KEEPER AS COMPATIBLE. I've tried this on 4 devices, doesn't work on any of them. Yes I followed the directions. Yes I am rooted, even tried multiple stock and custom roms, nothing, zip zilch nada.... edit build.prop yourself. Sorry this app plain old doesn't work.

Awesome on both my tablets. 'M able to purchase incompatible apps and play them! At first i didn't see the full play store but when i was just checking for games to ad to a future list of apps to purchase i noticed apps i never saw before. It worked!

Doesn't change anything in my device at all. I could install apps to my device before changing ROMs, so I decided to spoof my own device and even after doing so it still shows up as the same device and I still can't download the apps I could previously. Don't waste your money.

Play had some deals for tablets only on sale, used this to save my old build.prop, replace with a tablet build.prop, then went back to my original build.prop. Definitely worth the $1.50 as long the database is kept up for future devices and builds, thank you!

Thought this would make my dreams come true but no it won't even open after installing, someone please help as my Samsung galaxy tab 2 isn't supported on R*'s device list for vice city. The only message I get is "unfortunately device spoofer has stopped" crap!

I used this app on my galaxy tab 2 (10.1") fooled it into thinking it was the (7") tablet. Worked fine for a few days then tablet just blanked out...... turned on but no picture!! Took it to local shop who was expert at all things android....... told me the app is blocking tablet from functioning properly, trying to start up in 10.1" mode but app is forcing it to try in 7" mode! Took shop over a week to eventually get tablet reset and functioning as it should! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

It does what it says, spoofed the device. I set my Evo3D to spoof as a SGS2 and now I can access GTA. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 because it only lists device codenames and not their "popular" names. I had to Google the Samsung codenames before I could find the one for the SGS2. One other thing for Evo3D users, you're gonna want to make sure to back up your current device info. When I spoof as SGS2,the camera doesn't work. Have to restore Evo3D info to get my camera back.

I downloaded the app and the spoof worked. However, when I went to restore my phone back to its' original setting and did I reboot, the phone never started back up.

Saved me a lot of time. With market enabler aswell. Get any app. Any version and updates. With update helper. 3 must have apps for any root user. Saves lots of time manually writing down from buildprop and restoring. Thanks. Ive uploaded all my test device configurations. Please users do the same
