The store is a horribly buggy, unstable, unusable mess. It crashes, it freezes, it stalls, it's slow. Hire competent programmers instead of using summer interns. Also, the PlayStation Messages app is overwhelmingly unnecessary. Just enable it on this app again like a sensible company would do after learning that one of their ideas is objectively bad, both in execution and in practicality. Get your stuff together, Sony. Edit: It's worse now. Freezes even more than before, becoming unresponsive until you restart it. Edit #2: Can't take screenshots of the app due to "security policy". It isn't your job to tell me when I can't take screenshots on my phone.

I want help PLAYSTAION! please i cant sign in my account it says error and error again n again please help i can give u information about my psn account! Like few days ago it was saying "change u r password for security masure" and i tryed to change but it doesnt let me change it ! And i dont have a PC. And idk how to work on PC! This app does pretty much exactly as it should to allow convenient access to your PlayStation account whenever away from the console itself. One feature that I hope gets added in the future though, would be the ability to have party chat work through the phone so that I could talk live to friends without actually having the PlayStation with me.

Can't log in, I can't even get passed a white screen when it says to log into ps4... very disappointed in this ap. I used to use it a lot. Absolute crap! Uninstalling until this app can get it straight

Long time PlayStation fanatic. And this app is amazing addition. Message app as well. And to all who say there are issues well all apps have some and I use a lot of apps and this one has never given me an issue

Had the app it worked fine. Since the last update now when I try to sign in it goes to a blank white screen. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not help. With no help feature unable to do anything... Such a waste of phone space. I expected more from Sony... My bad

The PS App and PS Messagin app won't let me login or use any of their features. I press login and it takes me to a white screen that doesn't load anything at all, making it impossible to use. It doesn't say loading or show a loading symbol at all, just sits there at a blank white page. These apps haven't worked for weeks now.

Play store keeps freezing have to shut it down and reopen. Utterly useless as is only reason I actually use it. Used to be OK but much like all Sony software now too slow and unresponsive compared to modern rivals. Using a xperia z1 ironically

The singular reason I downloaded this app was so I could message my PSN friends without missing cut scenes or pulling up several menus. It says in the description of this app it supports chat but as soon as you click on it you are redirected to download an app dedicated to messages. I will keep it for a few day to see if it's useful but likely will delete to save space on my phone. Hopefully the messages app operates by itself.

What a disaster of an app. Looks like the design resulted from decision-by-committee. Terrible user experience! It can't even access your phone contacts and suggest your friends - as opposed to every other app in existence. Sony - outsource this project if you can't manage it yourself.

I can't sign in, I can't check anything. I have an S7 and it's flawless but the application just won't work. Is there a problem with my phone? Can I do something? I saw on my friend's phone that it works and I really hope you can fix this... Can I get advise or something?

I enjoy the app for its ability to navigate certain settings and even double as a controller but for whatever reason it doesn't like to update my profile image. Always tell me it can't do it, despite being updated fully. So, 4/5 for doing all the things I wanted it for minus that one thing.

Loading time is hard moving from page to page some time you have to close the hole app down and restart love this is on phones or tablet same problems wish it ran smother would be nice tool to use great idea. App is hard And frustrating sometimes

I have the app on my tablet & phone. I get the same notification for both devices, even if I already looked at it on one device. If I see it on my tablet, and I acknowledged that I saw it on the app, then it shouldn't show up on my phone. Sounds simple to me! Please fix this. Also, every time I access and use the PlayStation store, the app freezes. I usually give up and move on... These issues are so annoying

The PlayStation app is janky It does not runs differently every time I open it. It's like a gamble as to whether or not it chooses to run properly. You can buy products on the app but every time I try to download said product the app loads and loads until it completely freezes. I don't know what Sony is doing but it really needs to work this app to work properly.

Cannot browse the store for too long as it starts to freeze up, it then gets stuck in a loafing loop so it becomes unusable. Also, cannot make purchases on anything other than the default payment. When it asks for the card security number, no matter what card you selected, it goes to the default settings. Can't even use PayPal. The general use of the psn app is good but the store interface is abysmal. Needs sorting soon because even if you go to the desktop version through the app it's the same.

This is less about the ps app. Sony Can you please send remote play to android devices, so we don't have to have to get a moded version of it the remote play feature. Why limit people people to your phones and not just send the app to AT LEAST android devices, but it would also be cool if you allowed the app to ALL devices, thank you.

Like how you guys removed support for messages from this app so you could peddle another. You literally removed features from this app and call it an "update," and now I have to take up more space on my phone and more time to do everything I want to. This is the opposite of user friendly. Good job, guys

Shame on you Sony! This app is piece of crap! Cant use this crap for viewing more then 1 page before it freezes! Every single time it freezes! Thumbs down! Update! Still crap

I used the app for first time and it looked ok. I went to use it again about 20minutes later and it asked me to sign in. When i did it said i had used the wrong password and it then reset it. It booted me out of psn while I was playing. Not happy. And whats worse I haven't gotten the email it said I would to reset my account.

Just too glitchy! The page keeps freezing and the only way to get it to respond is to continuously switch the focus to another app and then back to the PS app again. It's almost impossible to get the keyboard to appear when you need to type something in. It would be good otherwise, but it's just too glitchy!

Is there a feature even in the works that will enable us to view our saved​ videos from a mobile device? Xbox has had it for a long time now and I would expect PlayStation to have something similar, even if it's a separate app altogether.

I am updating my review to this current breaking bug, you cannot update your profile photo using this application now! This is the Error "cannot change your profile picture." It has been this way for a month for me. There is thread after thread of people complaining about the same thing on the Playstation support forum. Do something about it Sony! I am using Samsung Galaxy S7.

Messenger is on a diff app now. I used to use this app for purchasing flash sale if I'm not home, but now, when you go to the store either on link or the upper left, it does not want to open properly. It says bad request so I have to open it using the open in browser. Still useful to see friends who r online

"Cannot change profile picture". Going to explain why or just continue to spam me with this unhelpful message? The only feature I really want to use the app for and it doesn't function for seemingly no reason. The app has great UI however, and the ability to message friends from your handheld device is very convenient. A solid app but a pretty major flaw in functionality for one of the most basic features.

White Screen Fix - After 4 months I finally stumbled across the solution when nothing else worked. Update Android System Webview! For some reason Android updates weren't catching this and now me and my friends can login again. Other than that the app is useful but a tad slow. It's great for checking if friends are online so you know when to log in and jump into the action!

This app is horrible . i cant freaking log in my account when my password is correct coz i just logged on my ps4. Everyone stay away from this app. This makes me feel like ps isnt the best . Fix this up ASAP . even change password thing is not working. Until this is fixed i am not going to change this . Uninstalled

All I say that they need to do is what xbox app does which is to watch your captures on the app so you can show your mates when out on the go. Xbox have done this so well and hits a hit I use both but I'm let down that I can't show my ps4 game play to them as the app doesn't support this feature

For general media functions I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to use the simple navigation functionality to select videos in these three apps. Why can I control the ps4 with this app if it's not going to work for the apps I'd actually want to use it for? All I want is basic up, down, left, right, select, and cancel commands.

Ok so the app is great but "I CANNOT CHANGE MY PROFILE PICTURE" everytime I try to change it and it says you cannot change your profile pic at this time. Fix this issue, I tries to do it on the ps4 and it doesn't do it. FIX this issue cause this is really annoying.

Lacks features and is poorly put together. The design is cluttered and confusing, do I got to profile, account or settings to see my details, payment etc? I don't know where to go and when I get there I don't know how I did. All I want to do is add my payment details but it's pure confusion. I have both this app and paypal but when I try to add my card or paypal it takes me to the browser to re enter my details and sign in to do it through there.

I recently logged out of my account on the PlayStation app so that i can sign in with another. When pressing sign in it loads for a second than suddenly a all white screen appears. I left it on the white blank page thinking it was just a bad connection or something but after a while of playing games on my ps4 (about an hour), i came back to find it still on the white blank page. Please fix. 5 star app, just fix the bug

I'd personally like to be able to save my own photos and videos taken on the PlayStation 3 or 4 to my phone. This includes in game photos and videos like those featured in Final Fantasy XV. The problem is that they don't show up in the activity feed of myself or others while they're quite clearly visible while on the PlayStation.

Great love to use this to see if my friends are online or offline and redeeming codes fast on the go after I buy them from my local GameStop. It's cool because you can watch people Livestream and broadcast etc. mobile so you don't have to be on your PlayStation 4 to watch and you can add and send messages to people wherever you are.

It won't let me upload a profile picture. It keeps saying, "Cannot change profile picture." I didn't even have a picture to change yet. Why won't it let me upload? On my PS4 it says the app needs to be updated to 1.40 or something and the app is at 4.0 already. What's going on?

The store portion of the app needs some serious polishing and the control from your device is far from good. It only controls anything from the main menu and not any outside application such as netflix, spotify, etc. It would be great to be able to use my phone to control my PS4 when I'm trying to stream media instead of draining the batteries on my controller.

I can't change my profile picture anymore on my PS4! I've been having this problem for a week so far! And I had this problem last year too! And it's still a problem! Sony, SOMEONE PLEASE! FIX THIS ISSUSE!

It used to work well, but now when I click on sign in, the screen turns all white and nothing else happens unless I go back to the last screen. This also happened on ps messages a month or two ago. Can't use that anymore either..

Regarding PSN Store: Hands-down one of the most FRUSTRATING apps I use! It constantly freezes when I select something or will just stop scrolling. Within 30 mins, I probably close/reopen it about 10-15 times. I end up closing it and re-launching it which, of course, doesn't save the progress of the page I left of on.

It'd be nice if I could actually check my messages from this app like so many reviews claimed. Instead I have to download an additional totally great messanger app! Which takes up even more room on my phone! Awesome!!
