SBS World News

The potential of this app is unbounded due to the (potential) content. But the app itself is amateurish at least, and borderline unusable at times. Videos never load, constantly having to expand the news list when you finish reading an artcle and are forced to return to the previous sub menu makes no sense. That's just two issues..... Please update the app

Navigation is poor, can't swipe to next story, must go back to main menu every time. SBS news on TV is fantastic, this is amateur and needs some work

I am getting "cannot play this video" on each part of the world news. Shorter videos play fine.

Redirects for video to SBS on demand. Which doesn't work outside of Aus. Fail. Rest of the site is clunky and may as well go to the website. Lift your game SBS.

Content is good, but the navigation in this app is terrible. Almost unusable at times. I would use this a lot more if this was improved.

Very slow. And no it's not my device. BBC and abc news app work fine.

Advertising on steroids.. There are so many ads that i could not find the content... Basically ad, ad, ad more content ad, ad, ad menu ads etc Just really poor execution....

Such good content, this app is very poor. Navigation is poor ... and the lack of proper sharing options, such a buffer, hootsuite, and usual sharing options is a major distraction ... hope you can fix this very soon

Content is good, but the navigation in this app is not so great. I would use this a lot more if this was improved.

This app used to be good - could scroll between articles - now it is slow and cumbersome. The content is the same - the presentation is poor

Don't get me wrong - I love sbs news. It's the best news program in Australia, but I can't get the video to play on the app. I have codecs on this device to play almost anything but for some reason it won't play video from sbs. Then if I try to play video direct from the website it tells me to install the app. Essentially this app and the website are both useless to me. PLEASE FIX YOUR COMPATIBILTY ISSUES!

Want to read the news. Option to hide or show videos.

There are simple simple bugs that are annoying but they don't seem to care fixing. The app is actually great apart from that. Oh yes and a little slow.

The only place to search is contact page and this was not news related. Most disappointed. Wanted to find a 3 day old story, found nothing useful.

I really wanted to love this app but it is glitchy and lags badly. Press on a story or category and it may or may not respond. Just an exercise in frustration. Please improve.

Was a great app but now just get forced close on Galaxy S3.

Why design an app to see the news eg video then tell me to download another app to bloody watch it why bother downloading this at all please sort it or get devs who can

The recent update has made it usable. Layout has also been improved.

Previous update had problem on lenovo yoga tablet android 4.2.2 with App not signed correctly. Now all fixed and big improvement in UI and speed. Thank you SBS

15/7 New update has failed for Asus TF300T. Tried to uninstall and then re-install. Advises package file not signed correctly. Pls advise what can be done. 17/7 Tried update/install again today. Works fine again. Thank you.

Stable app, quality programming.

Now scatterbrained and disorganised. Still needs Adobe Flash for videos! Time to wake up SBS - Adobe Flash hasn't been supported on ios or Android for ages!

Used to be good, now they have a problem with spaces between words and full stops and the weather feature hasn't been updated since February (now July).

Great to see an app by the only news I watch. Seems pretty comprehensive a little laggy. I wilaving widgets means I can use this as my main source of news. Currently I use BBC and CNN Widgets for my primary news sources.
