Farmers in India have a fundamental limitation of access to markets. Markets that reward well for their produce. Local wholesale Mandis (markets) are often their final destination where prices are determined by several factors and almost always the price discovery mechanism is not very transparent. There is information asymmetry that goes against the interest of the farmer. With this app the farmer can also explore demand arising from the retail market directly. Reasonably large retailers can now directly connect with the farmers and mutually gain in this process.
