Looks great, but not ready for prime time. Can't stream from my phone, app is buggy, often needs to restart like an old Windows machine. A shame, I really want to like it, but difficult to navigate. The wife wants to pull it and go back to manual systems.

Very finicky.. Locks and freezes. Album artwork often doesn't load. Can't see individual songs on my music server, only albums or artists. Creating playlist is very tedious as you must go back and forth from different folders levels.. Can not play music playlist from my music server and an forced to make them again on my savant system. Volume leveling across rooms, maximum start volume not available. No equalizer or balance controls.. This system is meant for a person that wants to put on Pandora and never touch or adjust any settings.

Finally, I've been waiting to have Savant on my Android, as opposed to just on my Mac's, iPads and iPhones. However, some features consistently make the app crash, and some take a lot of steps and hoops to get to. The True Control was better. And unfortunately stable on the Apple platform. Disappointing for my Android devices.

This app is not an improvement because I have to go through more menu steps than previously in 7. It might look prettier but that's it. Keep 7 if you can because it won't let me go back! Disappointed!

Looks great, and usually works, but it's so complicated that I can no longer fix difficulties and your entire system is lost when your wifi crashes. Also, new TV and cable has features you give up w Savant (Comcast voice search for example)

I have no clue how an app like this could receive more than 3 stars currently. As a custom integrator and programmer, after testing it in my house, I would be embarrassed to give any of our clients the Android version of this app. The app has a beautiful interface and what does work, works very well and smoothly, but that's when it is working. It is extremely buggy, locks up consistently, and does not feel like a polished product. The basic functions work well (IR/Serial/Contact Closures), but when you start getting into IP control (Lutron/Autonomics) that's when the issues become easily apparent. The Sonos integration is a nice touch, but the old dictum of a "One App Home" is dead when the company that said it tells you to go to the Sonos app prior to using their app. All in All, I think Savant has become complacent in their success and it shows in this app. I guess us Android users will continue to be overlooked and seen as second class citizens to Savant.

It's great for iPhones, but for my Samsung Galaxy S7 it's seriously terrible. There are like 8 different pages you have to flip through to get to where you want.
