Fan Smart Sync for Android
Installation was easy but I would recommend you actually know how to correctly wire a ceiling fan before attempting or possibly hire someone to do the installation for you. Everything works well and we no longer have to hunt for the remote. Range could be a little better but as long as you are in the same room there shouldn't be any issues
Worked great when I first installed the app, then a few days later I tried using it again and nothing shows up and I get a warning saying make sure the fan is in range. I'm sitting under it. This is happening with multiple devices. Also, the physical remote is pretty junky, two of the fan speed buttons stick when you press them causing the red light at the top of it to stay on, effectively canceling out the remote command and draining the battery, for $50 I expected something of much better quality.
The fan controls work... but the light control does not.... the light comes in for one brief moment them turns off. The remote works fine, so it's not an installation issue.
App says "warning! Make sure fan is in range" even when touching the fan. Will be returning unit too Lowe's tomorrow.
Totally bad not working waste my time
Need to be able to easily toggle between fans. Not very user friendly
Works okay but I installed two of them and though it recognizes them both seperately, once I pick one it doesn't let me go back to pick the other fan/light.
Had a separate switch for the fan. Had to reconfigure the wiring to get it to work. This app works amazing though. Very simple GUI. Wish I could get it to work with Alexa!
This app needs a widget for the light function to be useful! No one wants to wait for an app to open to turn off the light.
Ap doesn't work properly. Needs major help. Don't even bother downloading
So far it does everything I need it to do
Got it synced to two different phones. Works great so far.
Uncompleted app?
Love to be able to use with phone.
Never works
Does not work for my Hampton Bay ceiling fan. Does not work with any fan.
It replicates the same functionality of the fan remote, but the app doesn't have activities (I was hoping to automate it with Tasker) and honestly looks like the UI took 5 minutes to put together.
Basic functions. Setup is not obvious. You need to edit the default "Fan" and save it with a different name, like "Bedroom", then tap it to enter fan controls. And no, it will not control fan direction because that is not a logic function on most fans. It is not a deficiency of the app.
I get a "Not Support BLE" error on my tablet
It works... But does not include a button to reverse the direction of the fan.
Works just like the original remote that came with fan...
Doesn't work

Interface is easy to see without glasses on. Great while changing settings in the middle of the night. Power fluctuations may cause base unit in fan to loose Bluetooth radio. Turn off breaker for 60 second, then back on. Would be nice if app supported the Homeshield feature so you could use and check status.
