EZ File Manager(Root Explorer)

Why I cannot use root explorer in es file explorer in Samsung galaxy S4.

I hardly downloaded 2 gb file it was in internal memory i did cut and pasted into sd card and file got disappeared.

Please fix this! The interface on this app is the best!

Getting error while trying to read root directory "Can not read due to permission". Also granted root permissions.

When you try to write to an SD card, it says "operation completed" but all of the files are lost. Luckily I was just doing a test. And yes, I am rooted

Doesn't cut/copy some root files. And if the app can support 7zip and apk extractor that'd be great

Ez File Explorer is accually es file explorer.

Only light and dark theme. Does not do what it says on the label... Root Explorer. Cannot access to modify android system folder despite the given full root access. Tells you that the copy and paste was done but it didn't paste. Why the fuk you lying? This app could be better so I'll rate this a 1 out of 5 stars

Nothing special but is a nice light weight file explorer, which also works on rooted partition/ files. However it has no network functions, which makes it pretty useless as an allround solution. Ho hum,

Doesn't actually work other than to browse files... copy, paste, delete etc. don't do anything even with root active... pointless software

Stop making such useless apps please. Also we all know all the comments with 5 star ratings are fake so stop fooling people you loser.

Very nice. Does every thing necessary. Can even explore the entire file system provided you have root access. No ads!

Not to bad, nice & lite weight. I just installed so I have to maneuver around inside the file manager a lil more and look but I don't think there's an option to change permissions. And I find it rather annoying that if I scroll down and do something with a file and or folder or say when I scroll up etc. the screen/page always reverts back to the center of the screen/page making it rather irritating to monuver when you keep being reverted away from you're projects & having to scroll back to where you were.

Light weight and user friendly

When I copy a file to the SD card, it says it was successful, but the file never shows up. Great interface though!

A lot to desire, theme colour (now only blue) square icon (round only), a redesigned sliding menu (setting and exit only doesn't need a dedicated menu I concur). That, and another star loss is actually the real concern. You have root but no way to write to system directory, ie no read-write mount. Suggestion: should have the root switch, ro/rw mount, bookmarks etc in the sliding menu.

I can't seem to copy/paste root files, nor can I explore certain folders. It doesn't seem to recognize them.

The root explorer function does not work. It tells you "File copied successfully" but when you try to find it it's not there. Will try another app.

Doesn't do anything. Can't rename, won't move files and it gives you wrong messages for the functions you want it to perform. Easy to use though! Sorry for the 1 star.
