About Save To Phone
"Save To Phone" simply saves all content behind the "Share" or "Export"-Functions many apps have, to your external storage. May it be an SD-card, or an integrated storage - you choose the directory. Text can also be saved to your clipboard.
To use it, just tap the "Share", "Export", "Send" -or whatever it's called- button of any app and select Save To Phone to save all content behind the share function directly to your device!
Features:
* All file types can be saved to any accessible storage (like internal or external SD Card) via share menu

Exactly what I was looking for.. but can you kindly update it to be relevant and reliable with new Android OSs.. thanks buddy! And is there any other app which does this exactly.. coz ES File Mgr is really bloated, and most other File Mgr do no have a Save To function.

I set it to save to a file on my SD card in my Note 4. Each time I try to save something with this app it will show a brief toast message saying "Error while saving!" I wish the error was explained. Disappointed because this app is exactly what I was looking for. I hope a solution to this error is found. [Update: it seems app developers need to update their apps to allow sd card support on Marshmallow.]

Error while saving, with Storage permission granted. It was just giving it a try with a jpeg file, so I don't know what's wrong with it. Hope this gets fixed, cuz I'm bored of sharing things to other Apps or to Google Drive. It takes unecessary steps. This app would be a must-have for a lot of people if it wasn't failing.

I was looking for this kind of app for the longest time! Better than "ES Save To", as it lets you save "content:" URLs. This is exactly what I needed!!

Been using this for three years give or take, and when I need to save something and the app i happen to be in doesnt offer a save option, I just share it to this bad mamma jamma and kaboom! I wanted to download and save a YouTube video to my phone for viewing later at a location where I don't get internet access, so I thought this app would help. All it does is save a 70 byte file - not the video. Still haven't found an app that works...

Does exactly what it say. Perfect. Ignore the other reviews whining about YouTube videos. Those reviewers were too stupid to realise that the Share option on YouTube videos is only a link to the video and doesn't contain the actual video file, which is not the app's fault.
