About RGB Light Sensor beta

Show lx level using Light Sensor.

If your smart phone have RGB Light Sensor, then this program works in RGB mode and show you the lx values for red, green, blue separately as well as 3 colour live graph.

if your smart phone have Ordinary Light Sensor then this program works only in NON-RGB mode and show you lx values from light sensors.

Uses for RGB sensors and my Application.
1) frequent smartphone buyers:- basically they like to see all sensors in new phone and how its working cool.
2) You can test your RGB sensors whether it works well or have any problem in sensing particular colours.
3) for other kind of electronic project persons whom test their color levels using this app in galaxy s4, etc
4) may be useful to demonstrate children's for what are colours in particular colour light. (use some transparent colour papers in a torch light).
5) even more, you can gave 3 torch lights to your children with each colour wrapper in each light. they can use three torches and play with your smart phone. i hope this would be fun for your children's while using physical objects along with phone. (in more three children's play together and mix a good new colour)
6) film makers check the light lx value always. so this app may useful to check light values for each colour.

Warning: dont show your sensor over direct sunlight or near heavy light sources.

You should change the name! The RGB sensor does not show colors on this app. Why claim it does? My s5 has an RGB sensor.

The color chart doesn't work it tells me how much lumens but nothing on the color chart table Am I doing something wrong ?

L70%

It looks useful but unfortunately, there's no RGB sensor in the Nexus6 so all it can do is graph lux

Doesn't work with oneplus one. Says no rgb sensor

U70%
by U####:

Rgb values not working on Samsung galaxy note 4. Will compare lux values against a light meter soon. Giving 3 stars for now, will adjust if the Rgb values start working

U70%
by U####:

My phone has only a greyscale light sensor. I was wondering if average colors from the front camera could be used, in combination with the normal light reading, to get a rough estimate of RGB values in the absence of an actual RGB sensor.

U70%
by U####:

Works on my son's galaxy s4, but not on my s5. It shows the lux but not the color percentages.

U70%
by U####:

Doesn't see RGB on note 4

A70%
by A####:

Only does the above on my new Gal 5 phone. Also, from the screenshots, it might benefit from transparent or single line graphing, so they won't overlap each other. But need to read the data first.

X70%
by X####:

Looks like a great app, however is not compatible with the note 4 yet.

R70%
by R####:

But it has some issues and the version installed in my phone expired asking for XDA or Google Play. Please fix it.

U70%
by U####:

SGN3 - RGB still not working :(

O70%
by O####:

Please add support for Galaxy Note3. Which is one of the best phone around.

R70%
by R####:

Can some sort of calibration be added? For ezample my sensor shows blue is always lower for all lights including sun light. More apps on simillar lines, to show other sensors like halleffect etc, are welcome.

N70%
by N####:

App clearly good, but doesn't work for me - Samsung Galaxy Note 3, just shows one brightness value, not RGB. Specs say it should have RGB.
