Santa Cruz Sentinel e-Edition for Android
App trouble, Sentinel customer service lame at best.
Freezes on startup. Nexus 7, Lollipop
I was excited to learn that I could view my e-Edition subscription on my Nexus 7 tablet, but disappointed when I actually used it. The apps UI is poorly designed. It's hard to see and gives you lots of little icons and links to try to click on with your big fingers. After using it for a while you learn how to get around and make the experience tolerable, but never good. The attempt to force a newspaper layout into a digital form stumbles on the PC and falls flat on it's face here on the tablet.
Not user friendly. Takes too long to load, Stays blurry too long. I'm on 4g, Droid Bionic, & went back to the text only app.
Can't get to content. Nexus 10 tablet, apparently-random controls appear on mostly-blank screen, and then "the app has stopped." Good newsPAPER but useless "app"
Keeps asking for password at this time it should not according santa cruz sentinel. The login is really small and difficult to fill in. Generally does not accept the login credentials. If it does it goes to a blank screen.
Please stop this cycle of automatic updating!
This is a great app but it still has many many bugs as of 5/6/12 ..... random force close ..... auto logg out .... says to update app when its not needed .... slowwww .... other than a little bugs it works great keep it up developers :)
The app worked until the latest is update from Google. Now only text appears on the screen, no pics. Nexus 7 Android version 4.4 Kernel version 3.1.10-gee1a0b2 Build Number KRT16S

New problem that login credentials do not allow access. 3 days of talking to customer support that does not fix the problem. Incredible that they do an upgrade and break the app.
