Santa Backup is a simple solution for backup and data recovery on Android devices.
Santa Backup will help you to save or export the following data in other storage:
1. Contacts
2. SMS
3. Call logs
4. System settings
5. Photos
6. Music
7. Video
8. Applications (+ data and application settings with root-access)
Convenient mechanism for backup schedule will help to keep data up-to-date. Only changed data is saved that speeds up future backups.
Wonderful "Live Backup" feature provides continuous protection of your device without necessity to specify the frequency of backup. Your backup will be always in actual state. The following events are tracked by "Live Backup":
1. Add/remove/change contact
2. Send/receive sms
3. Change system settings
4. Make/receive call
5. Add/remove photo
6. Add/remove video
7. Add/remove music
8. Install/update application
Data can be saved in phone memory, on external SD-card, in Dropbox storage or even in Gmail (using unique premium "Double Protection" feature). You may set up data backup in different places that will provide maximum protection.
Known issues:
The latest version of Android (KitKat, 4.4.2) caused SD-card to be inaccessible for third party apps, except system ones. So, if you do not see SD-card option in SantaBackup, it is common issue for the most devices using Android KitKat. The same problem may appear for some devices with older Android version too. We are working on workaround.

my xpiria play got stuck in a boot loop and i needed to completly wip the phone and i think this is connected to your google acount or whatever got the app clicked restore and it gave me an option of apps i use to have to restore this saved me hours and hours of time THANK YOU SANTA BACKUP

I liked it very much but had to uninstall because it had processes running all the time, they just restart if you try and freeze/stop them! Such a pity! The search goes on!

Avast told me that this app is malware. Makes sense, my phone would randomly turn on and off and glitch out when it's normally one of the fastest phones out there.

Until I flashed the official AOSP Android 5.0 Lollipop onto my Nexus 5. Since then, the app keeps crashing. Simply stops working.

I kept updating my contact numbers and updated again before I reset my phone to factory setting. When I backed up the contacts, most of them disappeared. Most of the contacts' pictures of the remained numbers were gone. I have to uninstall it.

Do not tell me an application is free and then hidden within it are features that I want that I must pay for-in this case through Stelapps. That is deceptive. I found I must pay if I wanted the use of Dropbox. Update: Developer was prompt and courteous. 75‰ discount is embedded in the app for premium features. I will raise from 1 star to 4 stars for professionalism. It would still be nice to be told at the beginning that some features are extra.

Backing up my phone call log, contacts and sms takes a really long time. I can't imagine waiting while it backs up media or my apps. MyBackup is much faster.

Installed it and try using it. At first I backed up data n it went fine, then I decided to add contacts and apps, but I never seems to work. It keeps saying unfortunately, back up Santa has stopped working.
