"Android devices are known for their fragmentation...you may be using an outdated device." Hi, Android developer here, either the OS is outdated, in which case you need to drop support for the OS in your app (your fault) or this is a convenient excuse. Don't blame users for your crappy app.

UPDATE PT. 2... So I uninstalled and re-installed, & it now engages about 1/2 the time... It is working BETTER, but still not working as it should... I will continue to use, and if it works more often than not, a star will be added... thanks... ************************* UPDATE... I now have to login twice, in order for accounts to load... No longer going to "black screen", but still not working as it should (in my humble opinion)... ************************* Is there something preventing it from engaging, as after login, screen just goes black... Please help...

The app was fixed to connect whether you're on Wi-Fi or not. Worked fine for a while. But now when trying to deposit a check, it shuts down when you take a pic of the check. Sigh...always something.

CANNOT DEPOSIT CHECKS. Which was the only reason I installed this (cr)app. I'm not surprised to see others had the same issue but wow, a year later and still this error occurs. I'm uninstalling. What a waste of time. I may even close my account. We are dawning on a great era which is a merge between our world and a new discovered world, the virtual one. If you want your business to succeed, or even sustain, get with the program. Or sink with the fossils.

Obviously they know there is a problem with remote check deposit, but they haven't done anything to correct it. Images of my checks appear washed out and almost all white on the screen. When i lower ambient light to almost nothing, the image is better on screen but the camera still won't focus properly to take a usable image.

ORIGINAL: 4/2017 "UNABLE TO REACH SERVER" if it does connect, i still can't deposit checks. what is the point of this app as it's currently useless EDIT: 7/28/17 dev team comments to follow up with the bank customer service line more than 3 months later. i just don't get how SFFCU could have paid people for this garbage app. EDIT 2: 7/31/17 asking me to come to the bank and show you my phone is ridiculous. how about you tell me the company's name that SFFCU contracted out to make this app? i run a SMN910P on 6.0.1 with N910PVPS4DQC1 firmwares. (cleaned up the bit about you, has nothing to do with you, just the developers) *UPDATE EDIT* 9/25/17 Using a different phone model, SCH-L900 (Samsung Galaxy Note II), guess what? Your app still doesn't work! After 3 times of attempting to use the deposit feature and being kicked out of the app, I'm done.

The only reason you really would need a mobile banking app is to remotely deposit a check. That feature just does not work. Whether keeping the entire camera way above the check, or moving the camera so far in the height fills the screen and the width is cut off, the "image is too small". Was the ratio of a typical check dimension not factored in? Did the developers not realize checks come in different sizes?

Tried to add external account to transfer funds to, the app keeps deleting the numbers, so now Iwill have to physically go to a branch just to do a transfer

Daily deposit limit with them is $1000 only. If it's more - have to go to the branch. My new CU does have it limited to 10K. - bye bye FCU

I like the convenience of having it having it on my phone. The mobile deposit does work now, which makes banking so nice.

Needs fingerprint login like most financial institution apps.

Freezing all the time now

Slow, clunky, frustrating, doesn't play nice with password manager. But if you need to remote deposit a check, it just might work. I'm not being cute there, I mean it _might_ work.

The app only connects when I'm on Wi-Fi. It used to connect over the carrier 4G. But now I can only do banking and check balances when I'm at home or somewhere that has Wi-Fi. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of an app.

I have a HTC desire and it just stays on the home screen and want loud. It was working just fine be for the update.

But the time delay from transactions showing up is crazy slow

Would be nice to have the option of logging on with a 4 digit numeric code but I really like my San Francisco Federal Credit Union so the app is just a bonus

My banker Mariana Estrada was great. She helped me set up my bank account with no problems thank you!

Glad all transactions can be done in one app!! Makes mobile deposit very easy.

I like the convenience in my phone but wish the mobile deposit app worked.

Works perfect 9 out of 10. Haven't had the need to go to the bank to deposit checks and makes transfers and payments a cinch.

Something wrong with the site, recently I could not be able log on to the site, I though i forgot my password, so I changed it. But once i signed off and could not be sign on again with the new password. Now i have to requested to reset my password everytime to sign on to my account. I just found out the problem is the app. Because i have no problem to sign on with computer.

After reregistering, I found the new app cool...until I had to deposit my checks. No matter how many times I tried the deposits are not accepted. The error messages are vague and unhelpful. You aren't told what's wrong, or which picture is supposedly off. If I did get an error that made sense it was that the photos aren't clear. But...the photos are the clearest, most readable photos I've ever seen with this app!! I even went to the main branch and a rep tried it on my phone. Same result. Please fix.

Does not capture check image correctly. Retaking same photon with other bank's app works fine, but not with this one.
