DSC Show

Love this show! Have for years. The app looks better but still needs a lot of improvements. Especially the search method. Allow us to enter the time manually instead of using a horribly touchy and inaccurate slider. Tjey madr some improvements to go from 2 stars to 3. However, the show is so good that this 3 star app gets 5 stars!

It stopped working. Couldn't DL now nothing will even load .this is all ruths fault

Perfect. Auto downloads episodes on WiFi so you never forget, and they edit out the commercials so there's no need to skip constantly.

You pay for a service and yet the bums at the radio stationed don't upload the service you paid for. Constantly.

Best app ever. So glad I can hear the DSC wherever I go ESPECIALLY now that I live on the east coast. I miss hearing them live but this is the next best thing.

Love the show. The app is terrible. I paid for this subscription and I have to uninstall and reinstall the app every time I want to download the next episode. Terrible app, terrible service, terrible help and terrible troubleshooting.

I work night shift, go to bed at 8:00 am, so I allways miss half of it, not anymore..

Very show app

The new app takes a little time getting used to. It's pretty easy to navigate.

If today's update made everything stop working, uninstall and reinstall the app, and log back in to your premium access. The update process did not properly transfer my subscription information. Please give premium members a designated RSS feed so we can use Beyond Pod!

There is so much I don't like about the new app. First, why do I get logged out every time the app updates? Second the entire look and layout of the app is annoying. The show date is still there, but where did the show details go? If I want to go back to a particular bit, I have better have starred it. The player is basic and annoying. Bottom line, the new changes suck. I will end up using this app to download the episodes and then playing them is another player.

I can no longer use the button on my headset to pause and play the episodes, all it does is pause it for a second and then resumes play. All of my favorited shows have disappeared, even the downloaded ones. Also the archive only seems to go back to 2013 instead of 2010. I feel the new update is complicated and convoluted as it takes longer to do things then it used to before the update.

It works exactly as described: Download or stream episodes play them back (with an unintelligent simplistic media player), but lacks features that you would expect from a podcast player/downloader. I still strongly recommend using a real podcast app (like BeyondPod) to play the podcasts after you download locally.

Volume goes down when switching from portrait to landscape mode when using Bluetooth or headphone jack

I would recommend an option to make it like an alarm clock. Set it to turn on at a certain time. I'd also recommend a live stream option.

The old one was fine. It gave descriptions, was easy to use, and now it's just a pain... why change what doesn't need changing.

Do away with the dumb circle scrolling.

Downloading episodes doesn't work on the latest Android.

Currently the offline download feature does not work on Nexus 6 devices. The download starts, but remains at 0%. Not sure if this is a N6 issue or with all Android 5.0 devices. Streaming still works, but not feasible on a limited data plan. Overall, app is painful to use, so I recommend using another podcast app to play the podcast after you download locally.

Worth every penny. Updated quickly with daily shows, rehash/best of shows available for weekend and holiday DSC fixes

In order to listen you need a premium account. Those accounts range from $10 for a month, 6 months for $40 and $60 for a year (as of today). I love their show, but that pricing is outrageous with so many other quality options in the Podcast world. I will stick to listening to them live if I want to hear them, I guess if I miss anything that's OK.... but I will slowly disconnect from the show as I fall behind and perhaps fall out of love with the DSC. Change the business plan!

There is no content without a 3rd party pay service, total waste of time!

You have to be willing to support the DSC charities to get this app. As a native San Diegan I this keeps me connected to home.
