Biblical Hebrew Vocabulary for Android
To make this a 5 star it needs a couple of additions. Part of speech, masculine/feminine, and phonetic pronunciation to make sure you are saying it correctly. And maybe a cherry on top would be additional word lists for free or purchase, and the ability to create your own word lists.
This app is amazing. The vocabulary is based on Thomas O. Lambding's Hebrew Grammar lessons, and is really useful if you want to memorize the lessons' vocabulary. With this app, there is no need of vocabulary cards.
I like it but there is a fair amount of words, maybe 2 to 3 dozen, that inexplicably do not have the vowel points. I have had this app for almost 3 years and it's never been fixed in that time.
Very useful to have the top 600 words available in an easy App for revision purposes. Just what I needed.
Nothing special I write how ro learn biblical hebrew but this shows how to learn hebrew only
I loved this app but i am disappointed in sound missing please update sound .
This app is very useful...but I think there should be transliteration or pronunciation...appreciate your good work.
Its OK app. But should tell what the word is pronounce in Hebrew then in English
No audio pronunciation. Worthless.
Thank God for this app :)
very nice and no ads! Hurray
Please, add phonetical transliteration, good by theway
Very useful
Great
This was very helpful and easy to use (especially the review list). Many people seem to want transliteration or the word pronounced, but that seems unimportant since most people read the Hebrew Bible rather than hear it or read a transliteration. What would be helpful would be to have even more vocab words, as I'm fairly familiar with the first 600...
Good job,am trying learn consonant and vowels sound(nukut)in hebrew to help me in pronounciation but cant find any app on that. Pls can you make it happen. Learning alefbet....i dont want my hebrew leàrnìng end there.
Only hebrew and english. I know aleph-bet somewhat, but not the vowel system. Which ancient hebrew doesn't have anyway. Struggling with ancient vs. Biblical Hebrew... Shouldn't they be basically the same thing? Not to useful til you know the vowel system in hebrew(biblical hebrew, i guess). You will not find the english sounds for the hebrew words. Like this: La'heetra'ot for good-bye. Possibly unistall for now.
Bad
Needs to show correct pronunciation or Hebrew transliteration of each word, not just English meaning.
Is it possible to get a pronunciations and a quiz of the meaning and pronunciation?
How do we learn if there is no teaching aid to correctly pronounce these beautiful letters leading equally to beautiful words and phrases.
Learn the most frequently used words in the Hebrew Bible. Simple to use and does the job well
Agreed..needs transliteration added.o just uninstalled once I realized out didn't have it.
Needs words to be PRONOUNCED. And transliteration is indispensable.
Needs audio pronunciation
I use it for my studies in Rome
Great but there is no pronunciation .
It great for any Hebrew students
Great tools.
Useful app.
Wonderfull
NOT EASY FOR ME ,BUT WE'LL TRY. ON MY SG5 .
EXAMPLE:הצל-NATZAL-TO BE RESCUED. Needs to show how to say it in Hebrew as well as English so that way a beginner will know they are pronouncing the word correctly.
Highly recommended! Thanks developers!
Easy way to stay brushed up on Hebrew
Great app can you add pronunciation to words
I wanted to hear pronounced and learn to speak in HEBREW. Yes read and Speak. Little by little speak and read.
I use this app often during the week to review my Hebrew and stay fresh in my vocabulary. Works flawlessly!
