Sandboxx - Military App

Love the idea of this app, but $8 for only 3 letters. You have got to be kidding me. It may be slower but I'm sticking with airmail it's cheaper and more personal.

I wish there was a way to edit the recipient's information. I entered my recruit's first name instead of RCT then last name. Hopefully someone can get back to me before the letter is sent.

It works amazing until the app locks you out and doesn't recognize your login information... Especially when you had prepaid for some letters and now can't use them.

So many annoying notifications and no way to turn them off. If you want the annoyance, the letters seem ok.

Thank you sandboxx for this amazing resource!! It's a wonderful tool to have and I LOVE being able to send a letter to my recruit from anywhere. Thank you also for your great cutomer service via chat. Top notch !!!

It could be a good app, but when I try to upload a pic my gallery, it crops it and doesn't let me adjust it even though there is a pic edit feature

Have to add a phone number to register. I don't have a phone number in Afghanistan. Pretty short sighted for a military app.

I had an issue before with my email not being recognized on the system today but thanks to sandboxx's speedy and reliable team things got fixed quick and I got to send a letter way before I thought I was going to be able to. A big thanks to Chadwyck Cobb for helping me out with this. Quality customer service like this should always be appreciated :)

I love how fast it is

Love the app. Easy to send letters. Just click the letter button, add the rank and name of the person receiving the letter, and put in the address. Type a 500 word letter, attach a photo and pick a package or individual letter. It is literally that easy. My wife is in AF basic Training and she is getting letters the next day. Makes it easy when snail mail takes in excess​ of 3 weeks where I am. Great app and great use of technology. Thank you

Absolutely love this app. I am so glad I found it. Type out a letter, attach a picture and send. My son is so thankful to get letters and this couldn't be easier. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Great app. Expensive though. I was told that sending letters through this was free. I will be limited as to how often I can write to my son in boot camp.

Lousy. Very non-intuitive and written by programmers for programmers. Took a couple of hours to figure this out. Sad we get this garbage to speak with our service men and women

Worth every penny! Privacy is important. Ease of use. Quick response when in need. Ad opportunities are spot on. Most importantly, the turnaround for sending letters is amazing.

I don't like the right so I have to admit this is an amazing opportunity to stay in touch with my son while he's in boot camp thank you guys

Best app ever! Anytime I'm thinking about my SIT all I have to do is pick my phone up. Soooo very awesome.

Wow!! Our son left for boot camp and he did not know how to send him letter and photos. I download this app and did my first letter. Our son called us and metioned that he had received our letter with the photo. The cost packages are very affordable because we don't have to go to deal with the post office. And the customer service is AMAZING!!! they got back to me the same day and fast. We are very thankful of having and app like this that keeps us connected with our son. THANK YOU SANDBOXX!!

This is a wonderful tool that connects you to your recruit in Boot camp much quicker and more efficient. It provides a self addressed stamped envelope for the recruit and the letter gets to them within a couple of days. I LOVE the app.

It's been almost 3 weeks since I've sent my first letter to GREAT LAKES. I got my phone call day from my recruit today and she has not received ANY of the letters I've sent. Don't waste your time or money sending letters to Navy recruits.

I just want to send letters to my recruit. I don't need all the other junk. Interface is not intuitive. There should be a way to send the letters from the website as well so that you can use a full size keyboard and not have to type on your phone.

Seems simple but it would not allow me to use PayPal. Every time I out my information in, 5 times, it said it was wrong. Not going to input my card number on a app I have just heard about. I will be sticking with using the US postil service and paying the little extra for quicker delivery.

This app is fantastic and I think the cost is very reasonable! 4 years ago when my oldest son was in boot camp I did not have this app as an option. Only snail mail. I would include stamps in the letters and cards I sent him so that he would be able to have postage to write back. Now that my youngest son is in boot camp, I've been using this app regularly. He gets our letters and pictures (my favorite part of this app - being able to include a picture!) within 2 days and often the next day. I also like that I can track the letter. It is very cost-effective ! At first I thought $3 per letter was pricey, but when I factor in the paper/envelope and stamp on my end plus paper/envelope and return postage on his end, it's a pretty good deal! With stamps being almost $0.50 each, postage alone for both letters is around a dollar. If I buy him a greeting card and send it I've just spent another $2 to $3. If I want to send him a picture , then I have to factor in the cost of getting that picture processed. The stationary that my son gets is already labeled with our address, his return address, and postage, which makes it really easy for him to write us a quick letter. When you buy a bundle of letters through Sandboxx the price per letter greets cheaper. We purchased a bundle and have sent him many letters. We've also been able to send letters to other people we know who are in military training. I especially love that I can send him a letter from wherever I am, at any time, with just my phone. As you can tell, I think this app is fantastic!
