DELTA Statistics

DELTA Statistics application is a part of DELTA research project (http://www.cse.usf.edu/~nsamteladze/projects/delta.html). This research is focused on minimization of application update traffic. DELTA Statistics collects useful statistics about the installed applications and networks connectivity which will be further used in research purposes.

The following features are collected:

1. Application's name, version, size and time of the last update for each of the installed applications.
2. Wi-Fi and Mobile networks connectivity statistics. That means whether the device is connected to any of Wi-Fi or Mobile (3G/4G) networks.
3. Device ID.

To the best of our knowledge, it is impossible to connect the device's owner or get any of his/her private information based on the collected statistics. An exact copy of the collected statistics can be obtained through the application or by request at delta.statistics@gmail.com.
