Wi-Fi Transfer

Amazingly good app. File transfer is very fast. Only one thing is the internet is disabled on both phone and PC during the transfer. Could be best if you can give options to this issue!!!!

Did not work. Ever Turned off the WiFi on my phone Everytime I attempted to use it. I a word; shite.

We will continue to provide better functions in the future." Response: If I set my Galaxy S8 to receive mode an error message appears right away: "Failed to start receive mode". It then gets stuck in a loop and the only way out is to force the Android app to close. If my S8 is able to find my PC in send mode, connecting via 4-digit code produces the error that my PC is "Already connected to another device," even if it isn't connected to anything. Connecting via QR Code produces the error, "Failed to connect to receiver". If this app along with the Android app work for anyone, I would really like to know how/why.

It works like wifi direct . thankyou samsung , i have been looking for a similar solution for a long time . Mind it , phone wont be connected to anyother wifi disring the process of using this app .

Why does a file transfer app need my location access? It's as if Samsung deliberately took a step forward and then four steps back, while violating user's privacy, seriously... You guys suck!

Why is this compatible with a Z2 Force and not a Nexus 6? Both are running 7.1.1 and both support the same WiFi standards.

This looks like it will be useful for me but I also have a Samsung tablet. The app is not compatible with tablets so app is of limited use. Any plans to expand to tablets also?

For all of the steps you have to go through to transfer a single file, this program is cumbersome. First you have to set your computer to receive to get a PIN number then go to your cell and select send to enter that PIN before selecting a single file (whether intentionally or accidentally) then it sends instantly. To send another file, you have to go through all of those steps again. If you only want to send one file at a time, I guess this would work. For multiple files, this is not a good option.

Much more work than using a USB cable. You need to interact on both PC and phone, entering PIN from one onto the other. I never was able to get phone to PC transfer working. Always got "No device available" message. But the biggest annoyance was that it resent my PC login from no password to a 15 character random string that I use on Microsoft Live (and store somewhere just in case something like this happens. I had previously been using ES File Explorer, but it won't work with Windows 10.

I like that it connects pretty easily and the transfer is fast. I HATE that you can only do ONE file at a time and that there is NO setting on the mobile device to use WiFi ONLY for transfers or even a WARNING!!!!

The app is showing as unavailable in the windows app store!!

When trying to receive files on my mobile phone for some reason the wifi stops working and so the transfer failed, skip this app

My Note 4 can see my PC fine. But my Receiving Device (my pc) NEVER asks me to accept the Connection!! My phone just sits there waiting for it to be accepted. When I try to send from phone to PC, my PC cannot see my phone!? It does not show my phone in the device list!?

Interesting... but we already have Quick Connect. Failing to see the point of another duplicate app. It works well though.

Giving it 1 star based on the fact that it doesn't tell you where to get the PC Desktop Client App from. The tutorial is very basic. Tried to search all over the internet and could not find a PC App.

Fails at sending and receiving over my wifi to my desktop. Automatically disconnects from wifi when i try either send or receive and gives error msg: you are not configured for hotspot"

I echo the frustration of the reviewers here who have tried and failed to find the pc app that needs to be installed to make this work between phone and pc. Come on, Samsung! Where is the pc app?!?

Como baixar este AAP para o CELULAR e também para o NOTEBOOK? Como já baixei para o CELULAR, preciso paro o NOTE. Porém no Google Store isto é impossível.

For those who want to transfer to PC, you need to install the Wi-Fi Transfer application from windows store as well. Could not be used in airplane mode, even with the Wi-Fi connected.

Verizon Samsung Note 4 turns off wifi every time receive is selected.
