Samsung SmartViewer Mobile

Ipolis is the mobile app which works very nicely. This is the web viewer that I assume is the same as the PC version. It downloads the software from the DVR for you to run on your browser. However the DVR web viewer software requires you to have ms silver light installed and only runs in windows. So it seems pointless unless it's to view Samsung techwin's own servers to view your CCTV cams.Dont know?

Only get a black screen telling me to use menu to add a dvr. But there is no menu. There is nothing but black screen.

Heads up butt clowns ! There's no menu button on the note 7. You know the phone that still explodes even after your so called fix. When are you going to test your stuff before you release it? I'm switching back to Night Owl.....

Tells me to add device using menu, the menu does not show up. I have a sds-p5100. This app is totally useless if I can't access my camera..

Sucks horribly absolutely worthless

Was told to get 2.0. There is no 2.0 on the market. It wants me to enter a whole bunch of info that I don't know about my TV. The TV instructions are very simple and straight forward, the phone is the exact opposite. Get on the same page Samsung.

Use ipolis instead, this app always gives the 401 unauthorized error

404 Error confirmed from Expert user. Also, desktop version of software crashes on Windows 7. Junk.

Useless the developers must have just a iphone. You Know Some Phones Don't Have A Menu Or option key. So the app is useless just like there dvr system. Was playing around with a system we ripped out of a customers business. They are in better hands now with a non samsung dvr

Black screen that specifies to add device but there is no menu or functions. The only thing you can do is hit 'back' to exit the app. LG G3 running lollipop.

Application does not work. Get message that means absolutely nothing to me ( IO exception). Good thing it's free if I paid for this software I would be asking for my money back.

In their attempt to corner the market by using proprietary zeal I now get to tell my fellow Americans who purchased a "smart" TV you, like I, wasted over a grand on something by someone who should be investigated by the FCC AND the FTC. I'll be looking at other brands next time!

ipolis works. This doesn't. So use that instead. Samsung needs to fix their own app...

Asus me301t android to samsong 2015 smart tv-no connect-failed

im presuming people are trying to connect this to a tv. this is for CCTV DVR thats connected to a router.

FYI to get your menu button (I have a note 5) long press the back button and in ANY app it works as a menu button. But ya this app doesn't work.

Says to connect DVR from the menu. No menu, no other way out of that single page.

New android handsets have no menu button. This app has no soft menu button. Unless you're using a very old handset there's no way to use it.

All I get is black screen with message to use menu to add DVR but no menu available. IPolis does not work either.

It stayed on the same screen telling me to add a connection, yet not actually giving any instructions whatsoever. There were no buttons or way to acess the menu to add a connection. If you want to troll your friends with a useless app, this is it

Doesn't work. The menu to add is hidden. On main screen hold down the multi window view button on your phone. A hidden menu will appear. Same as with ipolis. Ipolis works but is tempermental. This doesn't connect. Limited functions. Junk. Expect better from Samsung. And folks.. this is for SAMSUNG CLOSED CIRCUIT TV (CCTV) DVR'S. NOT SMART TVS.

Don't use Samsung Web server look at the settings and look for the Ip of the dvr use that in the configuration of the app I've tested this 4.xx to 5.02 and it works well

I was unable to connect always getting not found 404 error! Ipolis ok.

Was prompted to get SV 1.0 for my older smart TV , but have GS5 and was told it's not compatible with my phone.

Not sure if this is working at all. I use SmartViewer on my desktop and iPolis on my phone and these work fine but this app does not connect. Not sure why because the connection messages flash past before I can see them. Moans about a 404 but I can't see why and the settings are identical to all the other products that are working fine. Can't even set this up for my local network. Not only that when you edit the entry and try to save it says "this already exists" like Doh! why wouldn't it when I am editing...

doesn't work on Galaxy S5 where is menu to add devices? at least a button for adding devices should be added to it it should be updated i have Samsung SRN 1000 NVR with 55 Cameras and i want to watch it on my S5 mobile.

Just doesn't work with 5102 dvr
