Great job with the update. Immediately noticed a significant performance improvement. Speakers paired and configured with ease...even volume seems louder. UI is greatly enhanced, plus Sirius support!! Nice. Doesn't work with my tablet yet(Transformer Pad), but I suspect the full release will solve that. And where is Milk? I've long said that's the best music app on the market. Wanna hit a home run? Add Google Play Music as well. Keep up the good work on this app, it can be the winner in multiroom.
Samsung need to focus on getting more mainstream apps added. Give us youtube, Google music, Amazon, maybe even iTunes. Get multi speakers to work on tv Hdmi output. Those should be your main focus. This app seems crowded and not as user friendly. Don't like it. Not impressed.
App opens up, find speakers immediately I have 20 speakers in my house so this is the first time I've ever seen all of them show up right away. Everything works for me except for anything that uses DLNA. As soon as I would click that source the app force closes. Other than that I'm intrigued about making group names I am hopeful that this will be something that could be saved after ungrouping to regroup them again quickly. But I have not seen the way to save them at this point. otherwise wonderful job!!!
While I appreciate the design is fresher, it's no good if the functionality I used in the last version is gone. I'm unable to use my hts h7500wm as a source, nor as a grouped speaker. Same with using my BD j7500 as a source. Here's hoping they fix this before it goes to final.
Unable to use the app at all because my S7 Edge apparently has a screen overlay. I do not know what is doing this. I did not have to change anything for the previous version to work. Can you tell me how to fix this issue?
The update to the look and feel of the app is nice and feels fresh. But, the underlying issues that the app has all still remain. Contact with the speakers is routinely lost so that once an album has finished playing I usually have to restart the app before I can play any more music. Also, it still isn't possible to transfer steamed music between speakers, which is very disappointing.
Auxiliary is a source input but access is too inconvenient: need to go in the parameter menu to select it. Also it is not possible to change the volume of the speakers connected by auxiliary... Had to go back to the previous app. Too bad because thiss app looks better and recognizes the speakers faster.
Connects with speakers easily now, very simple to switch from TV sound back to multiroom on soundbars which used to be a pain. Still experiencing crashes, but anticipate a fix. Found the equalizer hidden in a menu on the album art page.
Few things. Switch position of thumbs up and things down. What happened to Samsung music option ? And Access to volume without going into that extra click... Some crash issues but I do understand its a beta and assume a fix
Looks and navigation wise, I think this is a vast improvement over the old version of the app, but I'm experiencing some pretty consistent crashes. For example, any time I try to browse songs on my phone by "artist" it crashes immediately upon tapping the tab.
TuneIn radio has lots of gremlins. Pre sets lost. Following stations lost. Stations often don't load. When they do, they take ages. Songs on phone don't load. Only Spotify works seamlessly. No option to hide services I don't use - very annoying. I've paid for the speakers so don't want unwanted services plugging. My wife is still using a separate dab radio - all she has to do is switch it on. On a positive note, speaker management seems more stable. I'm still the only one using it in our house.
Track info displayed and track played on speaker is mismatched. Playing and skipping of tracks is still unstable and sometimes fails. Good UI and optimised battery usage are great improvements on the previous app.
Seriously, how hard can it be to add EQ settings for grouped speakers? Such a basic but necessary requirement for these speakers, that bass needs toning down in so many circumstances. Come on Samsung, please..
Samsung Galaxy S7. Android 6.0.1. This app just does not work at all. As soon as I try to do anything with this app it crashes straight away. I haven't managed to play or even start a single track yet
This looks amazing. A much cleaner interface. I do expect a beta app and crash a lot. But I can't wait to test it.
Looks like an improvement but does not include Samsung Milk Music, "powered by Slacker", or Slacker itself. Five stars if those get added!
Huge improvement from the last version. Simpler to navigate and seems faster than the old version. Haven't had any crashes yet
Like the new look. However, it seems the equalizer functionality is gone? (existed in previous version) Please add to this new version. Thanks.
This was immediately reminiscent of the problems with the other app. I assumed something as simple as finding my speakers would be fixed, but on initial start the app wanted me to go through the network add speaker routine. I figured out that disabling and then re-enabling Bluetooth (for some reason) usually fixes this. Works with the old app and apparently the new one too. Other than this it appears to be a nice interface and a step in the right direction. I'm looking forward to them adding Google Music..?
Maybe premature to give this five stars, however it clearly addresses many of the faults of the previous app - including recognition of playlists!!! Please integrate shuffle functionality. Thanks, Suwon (or Santa Clara)!
Looks great, but I can't see where to set the EQ, has that been removed? Also need to add Google Music please.
The first day downloaded it worked fine after that up to today, I can only play audio from my phone, pandora and all the other applications are no longer there and it's sucks because I used pandora alot..Please give me a solution.
No Amazon music, no input from TV to all the speakers, no input from others app on the phone to all speakers. No custom nor serious volume balancer between speakers when in surround mode. Very disappointed.
This app is great but why doesn't it integrate Samsung milk music? Wouldn't a Samsung app include the Samsung music service? Otherwise this app has a much better display than the previous multiroom app.
Love how quick the search is but missing some of the options when playing a track: Go to artist, album, add to queue, etc. Would be 5* if they were reinstated.
Otherwise good, loss of widget is fairly major thought.
Really expecting more from Samsung at this point... Well, it's a Beta! Layout and UI isn't much of an improvement, app integration hasn't expanded, and there's no way to hide services you don't use. Why do you have to log into each app for each speaker? #beta Well, that's why this is the poor man's Sonos.
Works great on Galaxy S7. Thank you for adding SirriusXM. But...why do I need to name a group that won't save? Please let me save groups in the final version.
Why is Google Music still not incorporated and no option for independent radio stations to play through? Love the look of the app, but still so limited.
Just keeps shutting down. Running a s7 with m3/m7 and 651 soundbar. Sort it out Samsung.
Will be nice to have the opportunity to use the grouping from Bluetooth as well
This is like a totally different app. The layout is more intuitive, and the movement is really slick. Really nice looking design!
I have a Galaxy tablet which i use to control my speakers and TV and this app is not compatible....wasted money on the tablet!!
Design is beautiful, moves and interacts well. Great job. But where's the EQ? That lost you a star.
Can't play music from library without it force closing
...such as EQ in stereo mode and surround configurations with more than two speakers
Why can't this be downloaded onto a tablet? I'd rather use that than a phone...
Wow, such an improvement from the previous version. Once they add Google Play Music it will be even better!!!
Love the new app and all the functionality, now it needs the option to add other streaming music and remove the ones not used

This Beta version is way better than the current other version of the multiroom app. Unfortunately though the search function for music not stored locally on the device seems not or still not to work the way it should. Please make the app is the index service of synology NAS and make it more useable with music stored on NAS. That would be a huge improvement!
