Buy chromecast audio instead. These do not support google cast/music, usually wont group the speakers, the speakers often lose the connection and can't be found again. Samsung have had plenty of time to fix google cast/music and bugs, but doesnt seem to care.

Since the recent update, im no longer able to use my galaxy S5 phone and see my M5 speaker connected to the hub. Only on my tablets I can see it... wtf?

S70%
by S####:

Hub won't stay connected even though hard wired to network. Speakers cut out, lose connection. Samsung do you even test your stuff in the real world? This setup is now gawdawful. Updated comments for the June 3 software. Wireless still garbage, Hub cannot act as a Hub, and I can only get, briefly, one speaker to work. Come on Samsung, you demand my location now on the app install, yet you have a totally junk application and speaker system. Samsung read the reviews, including mine. Plenty detail.

Multipe speakers at the same time? SAMSUNG SAYS - NOT ANYMORE! One on each bedstand no longer work together. And why no eq on grouped speakers? Ugh! Plz fix. I bought multiple speakers to use at the same time in the same room after i liked just having one... It's becoming a pain taking time out of my life every day to reset them...6/16/16 and now it cuts off about every 10 minutes. Go to phone>open app>open music sources>open browse>open music station>wait for it to load and start playing...

First of all, how does the dang thing turn off?!! I can't play Spotify without paying for the service, when using my computer, I listen to commercials now and again. No option with this app. Glad to find a way I can listen to my radio station I like. Wish I could listen to my old style ipod with it. Does this speaker support apple? Basically, why does it have to be so challenging? Still on the fence about returning this speaker..,

Since update i lose connectivity with my m7 speaker and m5 on a regular basis and have to reset them. This app used to work flawlessly, but now it's unusable.

C70%
by C####:

I have had my speakers (M5 and M3) and hub for 10 months and it worked well. However, in the last month I have the same issues as the others have mentioned. Plays for about 5-10 mins and then stops working. All speakers disappear from the App, the leds on the speakers start flashing. Turn everything off, restart....wait.... all comes back.... and repeat. I used to like this system a lot but now it's unusable. update: Only happens when the speakers are grouped. Otherwise it works OK. Please fix

F70%
by F####:

The connection method is so annyoing and it takes forever to group even two speakers (if lucky). Disconnects every couple minutes, music stops and crashes constantly. App needs an update immediately. Had to go with Spotify Premium to coonect more than one speaker, pretty expensive feature for the already expensive speakers

C70%
by C####:

The latest update has stopped it finding any music sources which makes it a dead app. Can't play anything anymore so now I have some beautiful speakers that are as good as paper weights. Thanks Samsung!

H70%

Worked just fine, loved the ability to run firmware updates from my phone. New software, updated application, all broken. The speaker I did have never moved, the setup function can't find it and will only tell you to restart your router and your speaker (both done multiple times). I also tried to uninstalling and reinstall the app itself, no joy. Worthless.

Love on my S7 Edge !! But loads very tiny in middle of screen on my Galaxy View. Can barely ready the wording

C70%

I somehow got it to work. But still missing a few things: Google Play Music support and somehow I am not able to synchronize the volume when connected a soundbar with two 360 r3 speakers. My soundbar's volume is for example 10 and the speakers are 4. Why? How to change that?

C70%
by C####:

Since recent upgrade cannot group multi-room from my hub. Third party music applications like Pandora etc do not work well.

C70%
by C####:

This is a very poor and fiddly app. It also doesn't work with google music or tidal or amazon prime so I am not able to use it as advertised.

Also has bluetooth great for family on a home network with visitor's being able to play their music.

Nice idea...but the inability to play music from Amazon Prime and issues with having to set the thing up over and over are no bueno.

C70%
by C####:

Since the last app update, unable to run firmware updates: 'update failed' also now repeatedly losing connection to the hub 'no speakers found' requiring an app restart each time.

This app is the only way to setup and control my surround sound setup, which includes a J650 soundbar and 2x WAM750 Speakers paired to my UA55JU7000 tv through the wireless bridge. Considering all are Samsung products, you'd expect it to work seamlessly. However the sound level control doesn't work when you group the speakers in surround mode, resulting in unbalanced volume from the speakers, and several features (night mode etc.) disappear in group/surround setups. Please fix this- its near unusable.

I70%
by I####:

Recent update has broken the Firmware update option, constantly says Update Failed I time I check. Any chance of reinstalling the startup jingle on the H-751 Multiroom Soundbar? When I purchased the Soundbar this jingle was on, then removed later. I really liked that touch. Typical case of you buy something then they start removing features

Takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have the hang of it, the speakers are easily controlled and play from several streaming sources. As long as the speakers have a good wifi signal. Very much enjoy, once the music is started, the streaming is no longer dependent of the mobile device. Can even switch control devices without skipping a beat. Just make sure to check your groups before playing music in the living room, at night, while the wife is asleep, in the bedroom.

I have 7 of these speakers installed at ceiling height. Love them when they work, but if the power ever goes out (which it does... all the time in my building) it can take HOURS of repetitive troubleshooting to get them connected again. Try restarting the router... doesn't help. Try the "add speaker" function in the settings... never finds anything! Then I need to go borrow a ladder from a neighbour to press and hold the little button on the back, which only helps SOMETIMES!

Since last update was having same problems as everyone else. Kept having to reboot the hub. However, I owe Samsung an apology. I downloaded a wifi connection stabilizer app & have not had any problems since. This is not an app problem, it comes down to an unstable wifi connection. I have lost the soundbar in the app, but hopefully that will sort itself out. Have speakers throughout my home, Love them & the app, is working as it should be.

by C####:

Oh Samsung, why did it have to go so wrong? Let me start by saying I love the sound from my Samsung wireless speakers (especially the soundbar) but the software is atrocious. I can no longer play any music from my other local devices (DLNA servers) which means I have to use bluetooth from my phone instead of wifi. Please fix this. Previously, when I was able to play from my local DLNA servers, the search function was broken, meaning to get to an artist start with S, I'd have to scroll for about 5 minutes. Does anyone test this stuff? The next problem is the loosing devices. As about 100 people have already told you, it is a complete pain to re-add devices. It should be one of your top priorities during testing to NOT IMPACT YOUR USERS. This means that you should be ensuring that an update does not remove or prevent a user from connecting to their speakers. Then there is usability. Keeping speakers as surround/grouped together between sessions just makes sense and is pretty basic stuff. Being able to switch speakers off without having to mess around with mute buttons would be great. Really, all these problems come down to testing (both functional and usability). Sort it out!

I have the J7501 Samsung wireless sound curved bar and two Samsung R3 wireless speakers. For almost a month after getting all this hot stuff I couldn't use it because I first needed to get the Samsung wireless WiFi box which none of the manuals from either speaker system referenced, and then the wireless app wouldn't recognize and stay connected to my fabulous system. And now that they fixed all of that, this marvelous system sounds like it was stuffed inside a large chest. There is hardly any high range so

Works great with my R5 speaker - have the app on both my Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Tab A. Can't quite understand why other reviewers with same devices have such difficulties. Would be five-star if Google Play songs playable via the multiroom setting (need to use Bluetooth option instead)... but I also recognise Samsung and Google are not the same company, which may be a surprise to some reviewers.

Paid all this money for these speakers for my party on the 4th of July and I can't play my music on Google Play WTF? Definitely a complete rip off should be ashamed of yourselves.

C70%

I think it disgusting that features that were a primary reason for my purchase are removed! I am close to trading out for sonos, just to spite you back! Samsung. There are so many annoyances with the app that you should consider listening to your customers and give us a total overhauled app, just start again! I want to feel more integration with subscriptions like deezer for example. I want access to deezer features like "flow radio"... you can't even build a play list through your app.

Galaxy note 5, won't display apps inside the multiroom app, and one speaker keeps losing connection. They have a tech support e mail, I've mailed 3 times and no reply. Guess it's just for show?? After update now, just says "can't play track" can only use blue tooth now the multiroom app is unusable

I just purchased the R1 expecting to use it in conjunction with all my other Samsung devices. It works great and the app makes it easy and intuitive to setup! But then I came to the realization that using Google Play Music with my speaker was not going to be possible. I have a mixed Samsung and Chromecast environment and it is a bummer that I have to use Bluetooth to use all my music on this device. Please add support for Google Play Music!

O70%

Has great functionality and service integration save for Apple Music. Really needs Apple Music support considering how widespread it is now. Lags behind sonos in that regard. Also could use Google play music support.

Since the new update my s5 cannot find my r1. Works fine with Spotify but the app will not find it whatever I've done. Worked fine before.
