Sam's Club Scan & Go: Pay Fast

It made getting out if the store so much faster. I didnt have to unload and reload the basket. Loved being able to keep track of my total too.

This was thw smartest thing u cud do. There were about 8 li es open, at least 10 people on each line or more. I signed up on the spot. Was out in 5 min

DO NOT USE THIS APP. I used this app once and was double charged for my purchase. Called customer service 3 times to fix the problem. First time, I was told problem would be fixed in 14 days. It wasn't. Called again and was told fixed in 4 more days. NOT! Called again and was told that I would have to go to the store and they would fix it. Went to the store and they were clueless about problem even though customer service said that they had called store about problem. Spent an hour and a half there trying to fix. They could not see the double charge in their system so I showed them the double charge on my statement on my phone. That wasn't good enough because they said they needed a printed copy so I made a screen shot of the charge and emailed it. That wasn't good enough either because now they said they needed a complete copy of my monthly statement. I emailed the full statement in a PDF to them but they could not receive it probably because their email server blocks PDF attachments. It is time to take this to the BBB because I am just banging my head against a wall.

Made my first of the month restock SO MUCH FASTER, especially on a holiday weekend, because I already had my Sam's card, etc, on the app, so all I had to do was scan my stuff, pay like I would at Amazon, and hit the line. Thank you!!!

This app quickly became a favorite of mine. It is easy one of the best app developments and I don't think anything needs to be changed for it to be great despite my suggestion. I, like many shoppers I'm sure, have a specific list of things to buy. If scanning the item into my cart could cross it off an in app list I put together at home, well then this app would take all the work off my mind and just leave me the drive to Sam's Club.

This app is easiest ever to use. I absolutely love it. All you need to do is download enter your information for both your credit card and your Club card. Then pull up to the parking lot of a Sam's and it tells you that you're at a Sam's Club and opens up isn't that easy. Then just scan as you shop and click pay walk out of the store done that simple I love it thank you

Great app! I however don't understand why since my membership just expired a couple days ago I can't log in to it. I wanted to check my prior receipts to see if I should upgrade my membership when I renew next time I'm in store. Also, app should cross verify age on my SINGLE person acct so any age restricted items may also be scanned.

Is a convenience for me. I'm always on the go and this app provided me the convenience I need it. I wish there was a way we could scan our identification so that we could purchase wine without having to go through the line. Otherwise I did not purchase my wine today because I didn't want to stand in the long lines..the Saturday before 4th of July.

The first time I used it was grea I was so happy not to deal with the cashiers but since last week everytime I have tried to log in it keeps saying sorry retry and today again and I was so .. because I had to wait for a long time and nobody was able to tell why ii wasn't working. So I figured maybe my phone was the issue

This has got to be one of my favorite apps! I have both a costco and a sams club membership which I'd visit both equally (That has since changed). The fact that I don't have to go through a line has made my shopping experience so seamless. The app has a disclosure in the beginning that if you're going to exceed a certain amount spend in the store, you have to checkout with a cashier (understandable). The only thing I could suggest, is to also add in the disclosure that you can't buy gift cards. I finished scanning every item in my cart and the last items on my list were a few gift cards. It wasn't until then when I was prompted to see a cashier. It would have been nice if that statement was in the beginning like the other one.

Me and my co-workers have gotten sidetracked on more than one occasion raving about this app. I absolutely love it especially when I only need two or three things. I really wish there was a feature though where I could make a shopping list and scan the items at home and just check them off when I was in the store

Didn't work. Total waste of time. Some items took awhile to scan. At checkout, I got error code 01 and had to still go through the line and checkout at the register. The price at the register was cheaper than on the app. Beware of the prices so you're not over charged using the app.

The time saved alone is well worth it. Scanning as you go makes keeping track of your spending a million times easier! No surprises at the register, no lines, in and out easy. By far the best app on my phone.

Fantastic time saver and frustration alleviater. I just hope everyone stays honest and we don't get the few screwing it up for the rest of us. Keep it right and we all benefit. Looking at some of the negative reviews, all I can say is you're either doing something wrong or you work for Costco. This app has worked flawless for me as well as all my friends that shop there for months.

It worked for a week. Then I couldn't log in bc it wouldn't accept my password. I tried to reset my password and when I submitted my email address, it just showed a circle going round and round (like when you are waiting for a video to load) it then gave me an error message saying that they were experiencing problems and to try later. I did try later that day, week, etc. I've tried to log in since then for two months with the same password problem. Same problem trying to reset my password, also. I have also uninstalled the program several times and it still does not work. I thought maybe I had to re-register my membership but when I tried that it gave me a message that my membership was already registered. This app worked well for the week that I had it, it was easy to use and efficient. However, now it is useless. Fix whatever problem is making the app crash!!

App works fantastic but unfortunately you can only check out with credit cards and NOT gift cards. We pay with SCRIP gift cards from our children's school so this app is useless to us but we would love to use it if they accepted their own giftcards on it.

I can not log in after I was kicked off from the app. I tried to go through settings forgot the password but it doesn't work it says that's a mistake appear and ask to try later.

A month ago would have given it 5 stars. No would give it zero if I could. I used it at least weekly since it launched and loved it. Now it is " unable to load your local store info" or something along that line. Will not scan. I gave up after an uninstall and reinstall did not solve the issue. I especially loved having the receipts to check back on. Today I gave up and stood in the line. Wish Costco would come near me.

Just beat incredibly long lines at all of the checkouts (including self checkout). We went straight to the exit checker and were on our way in no time. It keeps a total as we shop and shows instant savings. Love this app!

This app will save you a great deal of time when you don't have to wait in line, unload your cart on the belt and wait on the cashier to scan your stuff. We've used it several times and will continue to do so.

Still blows...tried it again....and it still fails to check out and had continuously given me errors on check out. Sucks big time to do all that labor and still have to stand in line.

I love this app. It worked wonderfully, no more waiting to check out. As I scanned and shopped I bagged my items as well as I was finished up I payed and walked to the front. They scanned the Barcode and it was all done. Get this app!

Love love love this app! Easy to set up and use! Saves so much time just by saving you from standing in line waiting to check out. TBH I can't remember the last time I stood in line at Sam's. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic idea with poor execution, in-store Wi-Fi severally limits the usefulness of the app, along with age restriction items, i.e. alcohol. I'd say works 50% of the time, other times app is either sturggling on WiFi or u need to use the register for some items

I work here so it might be kind of one sided. But this app makes checking out super convienent and shopping a breeze.

Super easy to use. Adding and deleting items was a no Brainer and leaving was easier than having a paper receipt. I really liked being able to keep track of my spending too!

I'm in shock! This is so easy. I felt weird at first just walking past the poor saps in the long lines just before Independence Day. I'm going to tell everyone to use this app. I wish all stores would do this.

This has worked 3/8 times I've used it. It comes up with an error when I click on pay, so I have to go wait through the checkout after wasting time scanning everything myself. The managing cashiers weren't able to get it to work. Un- and reinstalling, changing credit cards, trying Wi-Fi on/off...nothing works. Not worth using. I really looked forward to this app to save time, but it's just one big disappointing waste of time.

Still Inconsistent. Sometimes keeps asking for authorization, doesn't know I'm at store even though I'm signed into their Wi-Fi. Other times it won't load the store at all. I like seeing the scan while I'm still at the shelf with price. When it works, Checkout is a pleasure not having to wait for a register. Of course not having to handle a paper receipt is fabulous. Great app for skipping the long check out lines! Didn't like that Sam's changed their password rules invalidating my password without warning. Otherwise I'd give it 5*.

I am so please with Sam's Club Scan and Go app. No more standing in long lines. It's not good for me anyways because of my back problems. Great Job Sam's Club!

Would be excellent once some issues are fixed. Ive used this about 5 times so far. It's a good idea but there are a few things that could make it excellent. First, this app does not seem to work with prescriptions. For me the app never recognizes them. Second, be aware when returning items that some or maybe all clubs do not have their systems linked to the app. Meaning if you need to return something and do not have your receipt, it will not show as a purchase on your membership account. This happened to me the first time I used the app. I had to return some jeans and forgot I even used scan and go app. Customer service found no record of the purchase on my membership. Now I know better but be aware of this issue. Finally, double check you item quantities in your app cart before paying. Today I had an "item not found" error when trying to scan an item. After 3 tries, the item scanned but then it added 3 to my cart instead of just the one I was trying to scan. Employees (at least in my area club) do not seem well yearned with the app are often confused dealing with the transactions. Also, if you are a Plus member and your club is not busy it's probably not worth the time to scan every item yourself. If you only have a few things and self checkout is available that's probably going to be faster. 3 stars for effort but so far it's not worth the time and the hassle.

Wonderful app! Checkout lines are just a fuzzy memory - like natural childbirth. And the running total as you shop avoids those embarrassing voids at the register.

Update: Went from awesome to useless. Error code 01 when checking out and have to go through register. Defeats the purpose of the app. Avoid until fixed. Best App Ever. Completely removes the annoying part of shopping at Sams. LoVE it!

Love shopping at Sam's Club, especially with this new app. It makes it so much easier to scan items as we put them in our cart, we don't have to wait in line to check out. When we are done shopping, we select checkout on our phone, select our credit card and we are ready to go. Our compliments to you all for such a successful app, it is amazing.

LOVE THIS APP! It's so easy to use and makes shopping an easier experience. You scan your items as you cart them, and you can even pack them how you'd like in the the cart/boxes because you don't have to uncart them to check out. Then when you're ready to leave, you pay with a debit or credit card, and show your digital receipt to the person at the door. That simple! No waiting in line or uncarting items at self check out.

Ok, love this when it works. Reliability, for me, sucks. Between wifi issues in the Sharpsburg GA store, payment management problems (cc declined but bank couldn't figure out why - so now I wait for a new cc in 2 wks), items not in the scan database and unrecognized, and other surprises that get in our way. So, luckily, this store only has lines on weekends and evenings. I'll just go back to avoiding Sam's when they're busy and remove this app.

Exactly as advertised, how often can you say that about an APP? Great job programming team; fast, accurate, and easy to use. Saved me about 15-20 minutes today, over a year many hours! This is THE biggest benefit of Sam's Club over Costco, and I don't say that lightly!
