CardTest for Android
You are scanning your credit cards! and any other rfid documents (passports) how do you know if the developer isn't collecting this information?
Works very well on my Nexus7 and Nexus4 with one of my UK credit cards. A little scary just how much is on the card and how easy it is to read!
Does not even recognise when NFC is enabled ('waiting for nfc') let alone read any card!! Uninstalling.
Worked on my Galaxy 5. Interesting the personal info stored. One card had almost everything readable.
Samsung S5 - Works well, anyone having issues with this app, is not using it properly.
Doesn't work, probably isn't smart to scan a working card anyways if it did.
Does not work, only "waiting..." . I noticed the last update was 2012; this would probably explain why newer phones are not working. The website for this app is a total dud as well. Don't bother with this app; sorry dev. but you did not stay with the times.
Use to work fine on my note 2 and read all cards thrown at it but no longer works on s6 edge+ reads some I'd cards but bank cards have stopped reading. Could of course be a security thing on the cards but most probably the s6 isn't compatible in the same way.
Can't open Elisa Lompakko sticker (MC PayPass /Credit). Reads K-Plussa loyalty card and S-pankki Visa without problems.
Three EMV cards and nothing. Only registered one but couldn't read it.
So which app actually works for scanning credit cards? And actually scans usable data .?
It works fine on my Samsung S4 Mini. Android 4.4 Out of curiosity, the check code at the back, isn't programed in the card?
Nexus 5. Does not work.
Not work
Not working on my nexus 6

Good way to test if you're cards are faulty. I'd say 75% of bad reviewers don't realise the card needs to have contact less capabilities
Just installed on Nexus 7 2013 with Marshmallow. Doesn't seem to work on MBNA card but does on HSBC debit card.
Does not work.
Doesn't work on Note 4, kitkat 4.4

Doesn't work with note 4
Doesn't work
It gives me the numba so I bought stuff
Stays at waiting for nfc even though its active
I know this app was written and tested in the UK with a specific mobile phone. Just thought I'd report my test.
Doesn't work with note 3
Reads and tells surprisingly lot of info. Tells us how unsecure our cards are.
Ummmm hello you are voluntarily proving your credit card info to the developer and his coverts. Don't be surprised to see unexplained transactions on your cards.
Not working on note 4. In reference to the person saying its sending the credit card information out, that false. check the permissions granted to this app. internet is not one of them so it can't send anything out, assuming you are NOT rooted
Now I really know how unsafe it is to have contactless credit cards! Be sure to enable SMS alerts from your bank if you got one! Better safe than sorry
It worked a about twice, but very often crashes on my phone when attempting to scan. Running OnePlus One
Some time after using this app my card got blocked as there was an attempt to pay with my card in US (I'm from UK)... I never gave this card's details anywhere and never payed with it online...
Tried a few times with my HSBC card and every time it crashes
Just sits there saying waiting for nfc and does nothing when I hold something near it Even with everything turned on
Works on my galaxy s3 but on my new HTC one like everyone is saying, it makes the noise as if it has recognised the card but doesnt do anything
It works and it does what it says
I tried some cards, most of them are secured so try and find a way to get passed security issues.
Getting "unfortunately nfc card reader has stopped" after presenting a card. Report not sent, I'm sorry but I'm not giving this app permission to transmit anything. Galaxy S4 i9505.
