Pick Random

Description:

This app picks an item randomly from the list that you yourself have populated.

Thousands of app similar what's different?
• Lets you save the list for future use.
• Lets you save the pick with date and time. Access it through Pick History.
• Lets you limit repeat of a pick for certain number of times. See (6) for some tips on how to use this feature.

1 - Adding items in the list:
From Main screen (the first screen when application is opened) press Edit List button to open Edit List Screen. After that simply add items in the text box and hit Add. The item will show up immediately in your list.

2 - Deleting items from the list:
Go to Edit List screen by pressing Edit List from the main screen. Press on the item you want to delete. App will ask you for the confirmation, press Delete and the item will be deleted.

3 - Viewing Pick Histories
Go to Pick History by pressing Pick History from the Main Screen. Here you can view the picks that were made in the past. If an item that had been picked and deleted from the list, it will show as "Doesn't exist" for the name. You can still delete this record from Pick History.

4 - Picking an Item on random
Once you have item(s) in your list. Simply press Pick Random while in Main Screen. App will show you the randomly picked item and also ask if you would like to save the Pick in the history.

5 - Setting repeat limit on an item.
To access this feature press menu (usually left button on all Android devices by default) while from the Main Screen. This will bring you the Application Setting screen. Here you can see current limit (0 by default). You can change this by pressing the number directly below "New". Which will open a drop down and you can set desired limit. The maximum number you can set is number of items in your list -1.

What do these numbers mean?

0 - No limit. An item can be picked twice in a row.

Max - An item will not repeat until all others items have been picked. This is useful if you want to do elimination style pick. However, please note that once you have done full round on items in your list. You will have to set the value back to 0 to reset for next round, otherwise the order of pick will be repeated.
