فكرة عن الكتاب:
سعيد سالم من أبرز كتاب القصة والرواية في مصر والعالم العربي حاصل على جائزة الدولة التشجيعية في الأدب عام 1995 عن مجموعته القصصية "الموظفون" الصادرة عن مطبوعات اتحاد الكتاب العرب في دمشق عام 1991، وعلى جائزة إحسان عبد القدوس الأولى في الرواية لعام 1990 عن رواية "الأزمنة" التي صدرت فيما بعد عن دار الهلال عام 1992، وأخيرا على جائزة اتحاد كتاب مصر لعام 2001 عن روايته العاشرة "كف مريم".
يقوم بنشر إنتاجه القصصي الغزير في مختلف المجلات والجرائد المصرية والعربية منذ ثلاثين عاما.
يصف نجيب محفوظ روايته " بوابة مورو" بأنها من آيات البشري ببعث الحياة الثقافية في مصر، ويصفه "يوسف إدريس" بأنه دخل عالم الأدب دخول العاصفة وأنه صاحب مدرسة خاصة في الكتابة، كما كتب عن أعماله أهم كبار النقاد في مصر والعالم العربي مثل الدكتور على الراعي والدكتور سيد حامد النساج والدكتور صلاح فضل والدكتور عبد العزيز الدسوقي والدكتور مصطفي هداره.
يبلغ رصيده الإبداعي 23 كتابا منهم 14 رواية و 9 مجموعات قصصية، كما كتب العشرات من المسلسلات الدرامية الإذاعية وبعض الأعمال المسرحية والتليفزيونية والسينمائية.
فكرة عن رواية "كف مريم".
تتعرض هذه الرواية بحرفية شديدة وتلقائية صادقة لمضمون شديد الحساسية يضطرب به عالمنا اليوم وهو العلاقة بين المسلمين والمسيحيين، وذلك من خلال قصة حب رومانسية عنيفة بين سيدة مسيحية "مريم " قتل الإرهابيون شقيقها ورجل مسلم "حليم" يعمل في مجال الآثار ويشغف بالبحث في عوالم الأسرار العلوية.
مريم تكبر حليم بأربعة أعوام وتعرف الحب من خلاله لأول مرة في حياتها، وحليم في الخمسين يحب للمرة الثانية بعد زواجه من حبيبته الأولى "عايدة".
مريم عقلانية قد قلبها من فولاذ وهي ذات كبرياء صخري متضخم وجمال رومانسي حزين له سحر يجذب الرجال. وهي كائنة صموتة لا تكاد تتكلم وإنما تترجم مواقفها الحياتية بنظرات عينيها الذهبيتين المترعتين بالغموض، الموحيتين بالمنح والمنع. ويجمع سهم كيوبيد الذهبي بين القلبين بعد بعاد قدري دام ربع قرن من الزمان.
تبدو الرواية مثيرة منذ صفحاتها الأولى بحيث يستحيل على القارئ أن يتركها قبل أن يصل إلى نهايتها.. هي رواية تحفل بالفكر ومناقشة العديد من القضايا الملتهبة المعاصرة مثلما تحفل بالفن من
