Insight Software Phone App for Android
Worked fine on Android this May
This app gets a bad reputation because they have had timeliness issues with updating it with ios updates. They don't deserve 1's so I'm countering it with a 5. It literally does everything I need it to do and always works for me.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled this app 4 times in the last 2 weeks. It works the first or so time logging in, then it won't open. Please fix this issue. It makes it really hard to check my schedule on the run, like you claim it can! Samsung Galaxy s5
With the new update I have to untistall / reinstall insight app every couple of log-ins.
I used it on my old galaxy s3, I got a new phone (s5 neo) and the app doesn't launch at all.
I've had this app for months and, as other reviewers stated, it goes down frequently. There is NO customer support. You call, leave a message, and they email back that you should just keep trying. Maybe it will work itself out. I'm so frustrated with this app AND with Insight. A lot of money is spent on this software and fees. I expect better.
Where and how can i start... there is so many issues in this prehistoric system/company that is so complicated to describe in a cronological manner the excuses that this company has for the system not working right and still looking like an spread sheet from 1993... the app hasnt work on almost and counting 3 weeks, their excuse you have the wrong phones + google did an update without leting them know (lol). Takes forever jump the barrier of questions to book an appointment, change and eschedule, etc.
This dam app NEVER WORKS! What's the point of having an app that your supposed to be able to book clients and check your schedule when you can't do either!!!! I have deleted and reinstalled this app several times!
It doesn't work. Period.
I have a Samsung S7. Had app downloaded for a few weeks and i rarely am able to sign in. Always a different error code. Sad that they make salons pay for this worthless app. Its 2016 and you cant come up with a successful and useful app!?!
My phone did an update. Now it says server needs to update. Wonderful!!!
Charge you for Everything!!!! don't waste time or money
This app needs time be updatesd so bad. It doesn't do anything. And it sucks on a droid. You can't double book and the calender scroll thing is aweful
Since I updated this app I can't get it to open so it is worthless to me I think when it comes time to renew I will not
So frustrating. I NEED TO SEE MY SCHEDULE EVERYDAY! Works 5 out of 7 days a week.
Big surprise, it's not working again. This app has so much potential but it is very frustrating. I realize nothing is perfect but it messes with our business when it's off hours and we can't make appointments.
App rarely works. Salon has to call weekly and we are charged for every call. Waist of money. Insights excuse is the phones come out with updates too quickly for them to keep up with.
Not one good review I agree with them all why are we paying for this app and it doesn't work
Always having to call in for troubleshooting issues... staff can never access their schedules on their mobiles

It times out almost every time I need it and cant schedule my guest when im not at work, so I have to call my own salon. Its very slow, this last update is horrible. There is a list I could right but I need to go call the shop now :( Too bad I "HAVE" to use this app. Im currently looking for my old "book" and pen! It needs work asap! Ridiculous!... 8/4 well, its down again!.... And now your phones won't even work because your system sucks so bad thanks!
Crashes frequently. Can't edit the appointments through the app... frustrating nonetheless
My app only works 30% of the time.
Never works , and customer service wants to charge to help.....pick another service.......
NEVER WORKS!! the salon owner has to call weekly for assistance, it will work a day or two then stops. Beyond frustrating and time consuming to try to get it to work. We are cancelling.
It worked on my razor but had to input serial number all the time. Now on my LG it won't work at all. I called tech support and they don't know why....
Not good
Have had salon software 10+ yrs & loved it. When I expanded shop I added this app. What a waste. It's been down more than its been up. Tech support keeps "fixing" it, but it keeps going down. App hasn't worked consistently since purchased. Used up all my tech support hours because of this & had to buy more hours only to have them tell me they don't know why it doesn't work. Last "fix" was them restarting my computer & it only fixed the problem for a few hours. Don't waste your time on this piece of crap.
I need to be able to edit the appointment from the app. I have to cancel or delete just to adjust timing. Getting better. Pls fix asap!.... skewing my prebook #s
This app is great when it works which is about 60% of the time. It'll be great for several weeks and then the screen will say something like "socket error" and it won't work for like 2weeks. I just wish it was more reliable and consistent.
Everytime I update it stops working, I updated all our software at the salon too.
This is the worst app and sched. Try and run your business when your out-of the salon just to get frustrated cause it never works. You can reinstall as many times and the result is the same. You can call insight just for them to tell you the problem is on your in when in fact it's not. I'm not the only one in a shop of 25 stylist. I am forced to use this system cause the owner has invested money in it with the promise it was a great addition to POS. Epic fail! Don't purchase this software.

I have called you several times to fix this and every time you say it works when we get off the phone but then I try and it times out! HORRIBLE UPDATE. and it's sad that I paid for it and can't use it for the last month and a half and neither can my stylists!!! We rely on this to work!
Times out a lot, and now I updated and it won't open or log me in.....

Constant issues with 'connecting with the server'. Completely unreliable. If it were up to me I wouldn't use it.
