The App will create a CSV file with date, time, and amount of sales tax paid.
It also saves the picture of your receipt.
The App also allows you to back up your receipts to a cloud based storage service for you to download to your computer and present to your tax preparer.
Services available are ICloud (Apple), One drive (Microsoft), Play (Android), and Dropbox
If you file a Form 1040, and itemize deductions on Schedule A, you have the option of claiming either state or local income taxes you paid or state and local sales taxes you paid (you can’t claim both). If you saved your receipts throughout the year, you can add up the total amount of sales taxes you actually paid and claim that amount.
Every state has different rules for deducting sales tax talk to your tax advisor to see which option is best for you.

All it does is take a picture of a receipt it doesn't keep a running total. So at the end of the year I get to sit down with a calculator, look at pictures on my phone and add up the totals?!?

Great app for tracking sales tax or other receipts. I would give it 5 stars if I could choose a specific folder in Google Drive to upload the files.
