Australian Salary Calculator

It's a nice simple app but it needs to calculate overtime and other income on a daily basis ... plus need the option to calculate work related expenses like food and travel as I need not rely on other apps or spreadsheet ... still shows net income good me and doors it's work for now

Great app, however, it would be better if I could add a dollar amount for my Novated lease. Otherwise there's not much point in me using. Please update. Cheers

I am sure it is a good app for someone who works the same hours every week at the same rate, but my hours and rate varies depending on time/day/site so not very helpful for myself

Good function does exsctly what I need for quick pay calculations. It needs an update for 2018 tax year and update to the HECS HELP threshold, as well as being able to calculate percentages for raises etc.

Awesome. However would love to alter the tax free threshold, as certain sectors have different rules. But excellent app!

Please provide results in hourly and daily rates as well. Inputting the frequency of the salary can be made a single step rather than multiple steps

It's good, but the amount of tax you've paid is from the start of the year, not the Australian financial year.

Would be great if you can have daily rate info for business owners / consultants.

A bit more flexibility in your assumptions may help; Like adjustable employer super rate to anything other than just 9.5%, some defence programs go up to mid 20% employer contributions (forget this suggest, just found how to adjust employer super). Super Salary Sacrifice options could be added and some of us (eg: on DVA pensions) don't pay the medicare levy. Otherwise very close. Should be linked from the ATO site as it is so much clear and simpler than their system.

It would be useful to display the Medicare levy as a percentage which varies depending on the amount of income >$85000 ? Good app.

just wanted to ask if it is possible to add feature to calculate net pay for supper pension benefit?. knowing what the gross annual pension. Cannot find any such calculator around and useful for people to work out what the net supper pension going to be before retirement. Is it too complicated to add, as I understand the rule may be complicated?

I use it weekly as my hours fluctuate, new possible feature, saving profiles so you can edit say just hours worked

Foes exactly what it says it does. Lost one star because it doesn't remember settings and defaults to annual.

Would just like to beable to save choices i make instead of defaulting back to annual.

If you allowed hours per week to be no whole numbers. 37.5 for example?

The only thing I can see missing is the Medicare surcharge. Otherwise perfect.
