Awful. I am unable to turn the pages by tapping the screen. Can only use the scroll bar which is not good as I struggle to find the next page. I didn't have a problem using the nook account on my android tablet. I now have loads of books on my sainsburys account, but have had to buy books on Google books account to read on my tablet. Really not happy with sainsburys e books!

Works as promised, I like bookmark feature, pleasant reading experience, would recommend, book selection very good, reasonably priced for Top Rated books,

This app puts fantasy books like lord of the rings in the same categorie as 'adult' books and makes finding old favorites or new authors nearly impossible if i didn't have so many books with nook i would uninstall. Of my 87 books with nook only 43 have so far been transfered with none of the promised reimbursement in my account

Recently this app has started asking me to log on almost every time I open it. Which is not a lot of use when I'm offline. Seriously annoyed as I have almost 50 books and don't use the app on another device. Will be asking for a refund if this continues. Has there been a recent change? I own these and have downloaded them.

Got to log in with Wi-Fi everything on my Nook to read books I've bought already. Responds badly to my Nook brightness settings, no dictionary access while reading, no ability to highlight sentences / quotes.... I can go on...

I've been forced to install this app now thar Nook UK is no more. It is horribly and makes searching for authors impossible. Type in any name and it will bring up any author with the same forename. Basic Boolean searches, a function any programmer could easily code, are impossible. The fact that this core function somehow slipped the developers' minds is telling. That, coupled with the shockingly poor selection of books (none of the titles I purchased on Nook are available here) make this a non-starter.

Why the default high brightness and why not use my device for control, continues to run when closed. Hard to find books, not enough categories, science is huge people, why not "popular science" Has a feel of a company playing at this, please spend some time on the kindle site and app or even look at the old nook. Must try harder!

Anytime search for a certain book or author it gives anything that has the same word In it, it can be in the thousands, unless sorted I'll be looking for a new device!

This app creaks along barely functioning. When I got to the sign-in page it was impossible to get my name etc into the login until the 5th or 6th try. The books are expensive, and the bookshop, like the app barely works - for example, when I tried to re-order the books by price, nothing happened. Internal hyperlinks in the books generally don't work and when I chose another font the index and preface remained in the original typeface. The tiny typeface cannot be enlarged. There are no page numbers. It is not possible to highlight text. Unless you are obliged to use this app because, for example, you had a nook ereader, stay away and use a professional quality ereader such as a Kobo or a Kindle instead.

As Barnes Noble have sold Nook to this company I have been forced to use this app if I want to read the books I bought from them. Shame on Nook to sell their customers short like this. Absolutely dreadful app, impossible to look up anything, no sorting system, loses book place every time, settings unresponsive etc etc etc If you can, don't use. I certainly won't use to purchase a book.

I moved here from Nook and this app is a pain to use. The sort function is a rubbish (Why sort author by first name?? And sorting by 'last read' just doesn't work) There's no way to just bring up the current book you're reading - you have to search for it in your library. It forgets where you last read to leading to time spent trying to find your place. It's generally really un-user friendly. Needs serious work.

biggest load drivel I have ever had the misfortune to down load it keeps on down loading on to my phone it doesn't recognise the nook I think I will go back to a kindle not so much stress Just had another moan I think it's likely I will go back to a kindle because at least you know there is no hassle and you can them straight away.I HAVE JUST FOUND OUT THAT THE 3 EBOOKS I HAVE BOUGHT DON'T EXSIST SO THE COMPUTER SAYS NO

This is alright. Chose to try this following Nooks choice to withdraw from UK market, it seems a better option than the alternative of using the computer option as offered, this app being a much more flexible and convenient way of getting books. I have only just installed it works fine on my Asus tablet and it's also got a good choice of option settings which suits me as I suffer with severe visual impairment so I can choose font size, spacing, margin, and background colour which suits my needs.

Would be great if I knew how to transfer my ebook to my nook...dent messages no reply

Was on holiday in India with no wifi and could not read because I could not log in.

Hopeless. Couldn't download further books even after various suggestions from customer service who also take weeks to reply! Transferring from NOOK so little choice. So far, nothing would induce me to spend money with them! Also I apparently cannot delete books from my device that I no longer wish to keep!

If I read offline it reverts to a previous position when back online. The app opens on a homepage rather than the book and it doesn't respect the system brightness.

Ex Nook customer now forced to use this awful app. I'm only using on one tablet and it can't even keep sync'd on ONE device!!. I go back in to the app find myself back at the library rather than the book I am reading (why?), then when i go back into the book it has failed to keep the right place about 50% of the time and has taken me back to a point earlier in the book. I hate to think what will happen when I try and use across more than one device at a time!!!

So angry. Another Nook customer forced to migrate. Most of my books have transferred but the reader doesn't work. I can't change brightness or font size and the reader doesn't let me read in landscape. Really terrible

I agree with others had no choice to be able to keep books I have already paid for I had to install this app. All the nice things about nook have gone with it :-(

After already losing half my books after transferring from nook now I can't even read the books using the app because whilst trying to fix the ridiculously bright screen I've accidently turned the screen brightness completely off so when I go to read my book the screen is just black and I can't fix because the settings are on the screen.

How the heck do you turn the brightness down the default setting is burning my retinas out?

Forced by nook uk. Awful reading experience. Book selection very limited none of my purchased nook books are available from sainsburys to buy. Waitng for the rest of my library to transfer

This is good app for reading books, but I am having to log on to read anything, not good when you have no Internet connection. Otherwise I would have give it a 5 star rating.

Does not return to last page read any more and struggle to read off line since updates Very frustrating Not sure if this is linked from change from ebook app to entertainment app.........??????

From 74 books on my nook I now only have 24. I don't like how you turn the page. My code for £5 never worked. And if I try to highlight a word you can't and you can't look up it's meaning. Will let you know if I find anything else as I read my book.

Having to use the app as I was using a Nook. Not happy with having to use the Internet to log in every time I want to read a book esp as I only use electronic books on holiday so having to psy to use the app.

Sainsbury's must invest some money or it will fail in this competitive market.... I can't even download free books.It gives me an error....

Another person forced into this app by the closure of nook, on nook I have 336 books, was told the majority would be avalible on sainsburys.... I now have TWO books! Very poor! Hard to search, hard to navigate heartbroken

Love the app so easy to use and fantastic to read the books I have bought on it. As good as nook which I've been using for years now.

Seen your responce, this user disagrees with you. I have now seen another response that confirms my view, as follows. As I thought, you need to buy a book to register your payment card, then you can down load a sample. It's all for your dosh! Once the system recognises you as a fully paid up member, it logs you in. Nothing to do with wifi. Over to you guys to achieve what you think should.

Not bad, but you can't search or buy very easily or buy using nectar points (the only reason I use this app) at all -I used the website. Would be nice to have a wider choice of fonts and colours too.
