This app is a reliable weather source when at sea. The software appear much more stable than its competitors.. Not to mention all the additional functionality that it packs.

Great app.. Pick a polar, grab a grib, route

It's the best of all the apps I use, & not just the sailing ones.

While there is good documentation on getting the grib files, the documentation is nearly nonexistent on setting up and modifying routes. Could you please update the user guide to include this? Updated... route stuff included in user guide, thanks Henri. Still a couple other features I'd like, but huge bang for the buck here. Very well done and good support.

Essential for professional skippers! Tested aok in europe. Probably also fine for ROW.

A great app, but incredibly unstable...........

Love this app. I'm running it on my phone and tablet. Having problems with Android 6.01 force closes every time. Any advice sailing gods? Update: Wasn't able to run it on the 6.01 tablet so I returned it to Wal-Mart now using it on my phone and such a joy to have knowing that you're on the best sail path based on multiple weather data. I have a question in your experience which is the largest android tablet you recommend? Thank you.

This app has clearly been built by someone who knows their sailing and is full of marvelous features. More intuitive than anything else out there, I have found it indespensible when making ocean crossings and coastal trips in big races. I eagerly await each new version to see what clever feature has been added and for the price having this valuable app in your navigation toolkit is a no- brainer.

Fast response to suppor / request. Rich in useful features.

Used this to plot a 3 day course over the corner of the bay of Biscay. Set the wind vain steering to the initial course and it took me all the way to destination port in record time... automatically adjusting course based on current winds and tides!

I have a classic wooden gaff rigged Vertue 25'. It will only point 50 to 55 degrees to the wind. Could do with a few similar polar files. What to do in the meantime.?

Compared very favorably to some very expensive race software.

Works well, even on my quite old LG with Android version 4.4.2.

I do not go sailing without first using SailGrib to check theweather and routing options. I do not know any better routing sw.

A very well designed app. Provides global weather Grib files with extensive setup options, plus a weather routing section that is extremely impressive in both features and versatility. Configurations as basic, or as detailed as you require. Racer, cruiser or seasoned offshore sailor...this app does it all. In addition, the developer Henri provides prompt and knowledgeable support. Stands alone as a truly professional app.

Used Sailgrib to cross from Brighton to Fecamp and it worked flawelessly.

What makes SailGrib stand out from other grib apps is the sophisticated weather routing, built in tidal information, and now AIS. Looking forward to trying this last feature next week.

I bought in a rush. I think it can do what it says but it's not very user friendly. Getting instructions online is not helpful when abroad. It would better to have a free trial and then buy if you like. I wish I could get a refund as I cannot see myself using it.

This app has a lot of functionality (105 page user manual!) but is pretty easy to learn to use and I haven't as yet found any significant bugs. I've used various PC based weather routing applications over the years. This app is right up there with them at less than 1/30th the cost.

Not enough polars on there for the many different types of yacht. The version I downloaded (June 2016) does not work on my Sony Xperia phone.

I am no pro, but I've been fiddling with half a dozen different apps trying to decide how I'll navigate to Hawaii on a Moore 24 and I like this one the most.

Great tool with built in Grib download capability. Love the weather routing, super powerful. Tip: read the manual to get the most out of this software!

I was finally persuaded to take the plunge after reading the Mar 16 Yachting World article. Having tried several demo versions of WR software and never been able to decide on value and effectiveness, the article made clear you get a very great deal of bang for your buck. Not only has it proved to be a terrific way of getting to grips with the intricacies of such packages, but it's clearly a very powerful tool to support offshore passage planning. Simply ..... I love it.

Use this app everytime I plan being on the water

Does what it says on the tin. Brilliant. Constantly improved and never fails to disappoint.

In my view it's the best grib software for Android, particularly the full version with weather routing.

Great app both for planning and on the water

Works great even with satellite.

On account of this app, most of my friends with IOS lament that they don't quite have the best tool for the job.
