EPA's AIRNow for Android
Gives the wrong values! The AirNow website gives 94 (very smoky) and the app says 28. Tried several zip codes in two states and got similar inaccurate results. Unbelievable. The report times and zip codes match exactly.
Does the job but not to fun to look at daily. I'm in the sencetive group so I'm checking all the time.
Great data but app was written by the lowest bidder. Poor design.
Dear Gov. Why is this app misbehaving/doesn't respond
Doesn't work for Samsung Galaxy S8+ and keeps giving errors.
Better to visit the website than to use this woefully underdeveloped app.
This app has been highly beneficial to me. I'm very sensitive to poor air quality and now the app can tell me when to stay indoors before my lungs have to tell me!
Horrible app. Can't zoom into map. Needs complete overhaul with modern Android SDK.
This app sucks. Just go to the website.
Not much data is presented, spread across three pages. Seems like this could all be put on one page pretty easily.
Coming from the EPA, I would expect a better user interface and an interactive display. The function of this app is pretty basic but does give the info you need.
Not impressed, rather disappointed. There is no informational key. What do the numbers mean? Lacks many features. When I click Health Info, a blank screen appears. Phone: Motorola Droid 4
This is more convenient than the website. It needs a favorites list to save time. A way to search by city would be great.
Not that sophisticated; but it gets the job done. Could use a UI/UX improvement A widget and, an custom alert for when numbers get to be awful.
I use the Airnow website every day. Sometimes data isn't available from my rural location, but I can get the info I need from the National Summary map. Since this app doesn't have that option, all I get is "no data available."
Wish the maps were a little higher quality, better interactivity, but it shows me the data I'm after.
Gives air quality for white plains, 30 minutes away, instead of the bronx, which is 2 blocks from my house :/
Does not work
App can't display anything about my zipcodes or Geo location
Needs more sources. push an air quality add on national Weather Service stations
Does not show my home location in Florida.
Helps me monitor air in Nashville!
Good start but needs significant upgrades.
Where is a map. With map will be better
App reported PM2.5 (smoke) levels at 151 (unhealthy) as of 1 hr ago. EPA and Local Air Quality District websites both agree, PM2.5 levels haven't gone above 50 (good) in the past 24 hours.
It's a decent app for finding out what air quality is like in areas around you but because of a lack of air quality reporting in many areas, the results are generally irrelevant. It would be better for the app to let the user know that there is little to no air quality information for their specific location and then show information for nearby areas. Searching by city name would also be nice to have.
That's all I've ever seen. Terrible app. It's faster to go to the website through your browser.
I use web page all the time but cant get this to work for gsp area of sc which is a metro area.....
I have a droid and whenever I type in my zipcode it won't show me any results. Highly disappointed.
Doesn't work in my area.
Nothing on vog on Oahu.

You have to select your city every time you open the app. There is no option to keep one location saved, I don't know what all the acronyms means and a brief definition would be useful for those who recently have to start monitoring the air quality (new asthma diagnosis). It's ineffective for its purpose. Would not recommend.
