Shakti follows the principle of "Prevention is better than cure." by preparing women for dangerous situations.
This application is targeted at users in Bangalore (Karnataka,India).

Every area in the city is given a Risk Rating which can be updated by users according to their opinion. Users can get help if in a high risk area. Self defense tips are given, which might be useful. Users can communicate with any of their contacts and can even seek help from the nearest police station or other users.

Every user can also register to be an active helper in any area. This way if anyone in that area is in danger and needs help, a nearby helper(registered user) can be contacted.
