Safeway Pharmacy

Nice concept.... It works sometimes, others it freezes. I can't transfer my mom's prescriptions from other pharmacies. It is horrible. I have to walk a mile to the Safeway, and a mile back because they want to see the bottles to transfer..... Very inconvenient. UPDATE: I now can not refill medication on the app. I have to call it in by phone which for me is extremely inconvenient.

This is the worst app I've ever used. It breaks all the time, never goes to the screen I want, and I have to accept the app terms of service with each click. Sometimes I don't even know if I refilled my prescription on not. Literally any option is better than using this app to get your subscription refilled. You would think Safeway is a large enough company that they could pay for a decent app developer.

Freezes, then get error message. Why don't you look at Walgreens app? THAT'S how a pharmacy app should work.

Older version was better and simpler. This is still pretty good, and much better than the mail order pharmacy app!

Often refuses to connect to local pharmacy even with excellent 4G/WiFi connections. Fix it for a 5 star rating

Keeps kicking me out and makes me re log in while I'm in the middle of ordering medicine

You can't count on this app to work. I have to call in most prescription.

This would be a great app if it didn't break so often. I like the fact that family members can be managed from one account.

Constantly freezes or tells me I entered incorrect information when I haven't. The worst part is there is no customer service line. I got a message telling me to ask pharmacy for help. We both thought that was funny when I brought it up with them. When it does work it is the best choice for ordering refills

I love this concept. If and when it works it is very helpful. I can't log in without it freezing on the Safeway screen. Sometimes says there was an error and logs me out when trying to refill RX. You think it didn't go through but usually it does. I get frustrated every time I use the app. If they fixed these issues I would give a better review.

Always super slow and lots of errors and issues. Always goes to the "Safeway" screen between every page, and takes forever to load. Always had trouble connecting to server. With new update I cannot even open any screens. Could be so awesome if it actually worked. Please fix!!

All too often now though, it doesn't work much at all. Times out. Can't connect to server. Logs me off. Or stays frozen on the Safeway logo screen and won't open. Until the text reminders stop working I'll keep it installed. That's the only thing to justify my keeping the app for now.

This is great...when it works. Hasn't worked since the last update. I can get to the home screen, but it will never load my account or prescriptions. Please fix this! My busy life really misses having the control and visibility of my prescriptions.

Used the app to get a refill, Condirmed it would be ready next day, go in 2 days later, prescription wasn't Transfered or refilled and pharmacy refused to help.....not helpful at all. Safeway might want to rethink

The app is great on the extremely RARE occasions it is working. Always says it is unable to connect to the server or crashes completely. I would use it all the time if it worked on any sort of consistent basis. Please fix & my rating will go up!

This would be a great app if you can get it to work. Half the time you "Can't connect to server" the other half it just freezes up. You're better than this Safeway, get it together.

Its a nice concepy to be able yo renew and view prescriptions from an app. Too bad this app cant actually DO anything and just indefinitely sots on the safeway logo whenever you attempt to do anything in the app. 1 star because, hey, it doesnt WORK

Terrible app. It doesn't list all my medications. It doesn't show refills in progress. It has never once transmitted my refill request to the pharmacy. I always have to call it in. Uninstalling.

Update: The app worked well for all of 2 weeks after a questionnaire was sent out about the pharmacy app, it then reverted back to unusable and is now worse than before. I'm pretty sure the makers of the app have either never used it or have no idea how to actually create a working app. For such a big company, you'd think they'd want quality control on their technology. Previous review: The only thing I can use the app for is to get the prescription number to call in a refill. It crashes far too often to use the app's refill option.

Too often times out, unable to connect to server. If Safeway wants to push traffic to use this site they really must beef up their servers. Still easier to pick up the phone and call refills in.

I wouldn't recommend this is you're on lifesaving meds. Works 90% of the time... If that's good enough for you. Lacks basic functions like the ability to change your password. The site isn't much better.

This app is Terrible! It takes forever to load anything and then when it finishes it usually says: "Cannot Connect To Server!" If I try to refill my medication it never goes through, so much wasted time just to have to exit and refill it over the phone! Freezes constantly! Could be a great app but, there is a lot to fix on it! None of my apps do this except for this one! Fix it please!

Constantly freezes and loses connection to server. Cant paste login info so hard to use password manager.

Slow, lots of lag. Frequently doesn't connect with servers. Notifications don't work. No way to check status of prescriptions that have been requested (has a menu option that LOOKS like it should do that, but it doesn't). Fails to complete operations. Often logs out customer randomly.

Very slow. Constantly get cannot connect to server messages. When it does work, it does what it should.

Hasn't worked once correctly. Website isn't any better. Errors out nearly every time and suggests I call the pharmacy to make sure they received my order. No excuse to have this shoddy of programs.

I don't know why but for the last month I can't get the app to open. I really need that information and not having a working app sucks. Please figure out what's going on and slap a fix on it. Once it's fixed I'll change my rating on it.

Non-responsive. Can't tell if refill request was received. Looks like the app was rushed.

Freezes. ..gives cannot connect to server error message. ..basically useless at this point

The worst ever. 75% wrong in script list. Only 1 filling listed even when using script monthly for a year. Two script numbers have NO drug info. Etc.etc. "Server error. Try again later." "Try" being the operative word.

This ap worked awesome til last November. Now it doesn't work at all. Will not connect to server. Useless.

You can open three main screen but you can't check perceptions or anything without this app freezing up plus it's horribly slow. Please fix

Used to work great, now when I need it the most I can't do anything with it! Get the bugs outta ur APP already!

This app is worthless because it doesn't function at all. I've seen several reviews saying the same. Get a clue Safeway.

Great app. So much more convenient than making phone calls to call in or check status of Rx's. Great app! My only complaint is that Rx refill request don't always go through even though it says they do. That rarely happens though, so overall a great app from a great company!
