You're not "paying for safety". If you can get a robber or rapist to pause a minute for you to call 911, more power to you. Do you complain about monitoring fees for the alarm system on your house? No one is going to tell ADT you want them to monitor your house free. Same thing here. There's a person watching your back to call for help when you can't. You wouldn't work for free. You shouldn't expect them to, either. $3/mo for what is essentially a 24/7/365 security detail isn't that much.

I didn't remember downloading this app & wasn't sure what it was. I pushed & held the Red button as it said to do, then released it. It asked for my pin & I didn't know my pin cause I didn't remember setting it up. In about 20 seconds my phone rang & it was safe trek asking if everything was ok. Embarrassing. I now know it works but can't pay the $3.00 on my extremely low income.

I absolutely love this app! I go to school nights and love pretty much in a warzone. It's a scary situation walking from the school to my veichle in the parking garage. Especially alone at 10:30 at night.. The only request I have is that when you open the app and hit profile it shows all your info including the code. My concern with that is if someone gets ahold of your phone, they then have access to that info. Can it be made that you need to use your pin to access your profile info as well?

Idiot's need to stop complaining that this app costs money! Either make more money or don't download it and wait for the 911 dispatch to take 5min to get your info/location. Studies show that the biggest reason why police take so long to get to you is because of dispatch trying to locate you. This app eliminates all that mess= super fast. Helps me feel safe during the times when I feel unsafe. Great safety app!

Its a really good idea, but in the event of somthing happening who has time to open the app. Also the fee is understandable but also some people cant afford it. I will stick with samsungs (or android idk), 3 power button clicks alert thing

Okay I might be a baby but this just happened I am home alone and was taking a shower when I got out I was so paranoid that I heard someone outside the bathroom. I heard multiple noises that convinced me someone was out there but I wasn't 100% sure and didn't want to call the cops unless it was an emergency I had previously looked into safe trek but had no money for it so I never got it. But I was so nervous safe trek was the first thing that popped in my mind I re-downloaded it on the spot and was ready to leave my bathroom. Even though in the end there no one there and Im just crazy it was good feeling that I had back up from safe treck. ♡ thank you

I think this is a great idea and it's sooo stupid to complain about the subscription. If you don't want to pay the 3.00 then don't. It's amazing how those too destitute to afford the 3.00 are managing the cost of their cell phone bill. Maybe you can talk with you carrier about a better plan to save you 3.00 to offset the cost or just stfu... either one :-) It's incredibly stupid to rate an app one star because they want to charge money for providing a service. I'm sure they're not running a charity.

I like the concept of this but i haven't been able to use it yet. I got this because my bus drops me off two blocks from my house, and for a while now there's been this van that passes me every time with no windows. Im not able to use this because of the money fee.. As im only a freshman and i dont have a job to pay for it

Really great concept! My only concern is that you can open up the profile and immediately see your information and pin. I feel like this could be a safety issue. Is there any way that the profile could be password protected?

I know a lot of people are complaining that is costs 3 a month but the truth is that is really not a lot especially for a piece of mind. I use it when going home late. Yeah you can call 911, but that is on the hope you can call 911. 3 a month to me is a very small piece of mind.

Rapist or attackers can close the app (shut down the program) to prevent an alert without pin entered. Do not rely on this app. They reply pretending not to know. If you close the app, it still works. But simply by opening the list of active app and closing this app will stop it and all protection.

I used the app walking to and from the car at work and it's great. I forgot my pin the first time I used it and and staff member I talked to at the communication center made sure I was okay (which I was) and canceled the alarm. I love how reliable and easy it is to use.

And I know that for certain reasons it needs you know only $3 a month that's great and only a small fee for your safety but some people don't have that like kids etc so if you made it free EVERYONE would be safe

Would love to be able to add it to the lock screen & for my code to be made secret! In case of emergency and possibly won't have time to enter my lockscreen code and then find the app.... would be easier if given the option of having it on my notification tab.

This app not only makes me feel safer but it makes me feel like I can be a strong minded, opinionated and confident woman on the town who can have a few drinks and then uber home without getting mugged, raped, and/or murdered. This app is amazing. It's super easy to use and worth the $3 (seriously? Skip one Starbucks visit and you've already paid for the monthly subscription). Won't go out without it.

This app saved my life. My ex was trying to kill me and if it hadn't been for these people, I would've died.

Everything is great until i have to pay. Calling 911 is free. But holding a button isn't. Logic

I downloaded it then deleted it when it realized you have to pay for your safety tbh I'd rather call 911 or text someone to help like I'm a teen and so are many people that need this app and what if they have financial issues not everyone can pay for safety

Perfect app! I am always afraid walking to my car at 4:30am and I feel so safe now! No more stressful mornings!

With the clown threats it makes me feel safe! This is amazing and i love it hopefully I'll never need to use it

I love the peace of mind that comes from knowing I have this app, but I wish it would come with a widget I could put on my screen to make it more easily accessible

It's amazing !! I love it and all but YOU HAVE TO PAY ?! I don't have any money.. It won't let me use cuz I only have 42¢ and it says 'free trial' but it doesn't work if you don't have 3$

This used to be free i had this app awhile back ago i loved it the concept made me feel so safe just knowing i had this failsafe but now i have to pay what happened ?

I don't understand why you have to pay to be safe...I mean I like the free month but I am just saying...I like the app but I would probably be better off calling the police myself "FOR FREE"!!

What if there's a ghost following you like u in a dark alley and the llorona(crying lady that will kill you and it is a ghost btw) following you wil you still use safetrek?

Does this thing work well cause I read reviews and some have said it dosent work

If u want to pay 3$each month then also if a murder comes alone and u get ur phone out then u only get to hold it for 2 seconds and then what do u do just get killed

I absolutely love this app since I work late nights on a rough side of town it makes me feel safer! I actually accidently set off the alarm and I was amazed at how fast they made contacted and made sure everything was okay. They even checked in a couple hours after the event. It was very comforting to know that this app works.
