Safaricom M-Ledger

A great app and really useful. Only problem is it doesn't distinguish between transactions from the line I registered it with, and another line I didn't. Say if I change my sim card and insert another sim card in my phone and carry out a transaction, it'll update this transaction in my previous simcard's transactions, thus giving a wrong impression of the overall transactions.

Good. Just noticed this app does not auto-update transactions till I do it manually when I open it. That's out of order. Second, the integration of this app in twin dimensions phones is poor. It can't keep track of the simcard and doesn't update SMS. The false error is often "simcard chsnged" Last, Let M-PESA access phone contacts also. We are tired writing numbers on paper before sending money. M-PESA assumes we have just 250contacts for transactions. Bad hypothesis.

This app is great. One more thing you need to work out on. On how to request mpesa history for single statements. For example I want to retrieve all the transaction history for my mother, how do I do it. Don't tell me i have to go to the nearest Safaricom Retailer

You need to find better authentication methods than the 'automatic' read reads my sms method. Why not send an activation code to be entered? I feel this APP is spying on me. Other than the spying the app works wonderfully.

The statements are not accurate enough. I had to ask for mpesa statement to confirm payment I made a few years ago. That means the transactions dont balance and hence bad for business

The app is perfectly ok, but you guys also need to include the analysis for the transfer charge that way we are able to assess the cost of using the platform and weight against the benefit

I love M ledger when my phone had to be flashed i didn't loose my water, power and other payment transitions.. After downloading it again, all were available.. its great..

Lately.. The app is misbehaving. It doesn't update. Only when you open it gives account of weeks ago. Not current. Really misbehaving. Must you open the app everytime you transact?

Every time you update the app keep saying SIM card used during registration changed.

But why am I unable to get some recently sent transactions Eg late January two transactions

The app is super however, it would be nice to have a paybill money calculator so i can know what it's going to cost me to pay for something via paybill

M-PESA transactions made readily available with SMS records. Another success in record keeping on electronic platform. Highly reminded app for all M-PESA users.

Not all transactions showing. Was searching for a particular transaction that was under dispute and couldnt find it

I like the application and would highly recommend it to others.I am especially impressed by the fact that you can get the actual mpesa sms from the search feature.Kudos

I wish you'd merge this app with mySafaricom App. Not sure why there should be 2 apps . You'll get 5* rating after merging the two. I would also want links within the app to pay bills eg water, electricity , dstv etc

Can't update transactions. I have to uninstall and install again to be updated. Too bad

Love it! Helps keep track of all my m-pesa activities. However, the developers should upgrade the 'History sync' part such that it is able to show the most recent transaction and updated m-pesa balance. Fantastic app either way.

Love the app, quite useful and resourceful. User friendly. Wish there was a way I could operate multiple accounts like 2 safaricom accounts for those of us who operate dual sim phones with 2 safaricom lines, kindly work on this. Otherwise awesome app

This app is well it keeps all the records of transaction that you have made. I love it, keep it up Safaricom.

User interface is a bit confusing, some transactions are wrongly identified eg paybill appearing on person payments

Lately it is glitchy. After reinstalling it can not get sms code.

Help a lot. I recommend it to those who have not been able to use it to try it.

The App helps to give costs incurred in sending and withdrawing money via Mpesa. It is also a good database for analysis of activities and people one have transacted funds

Great App. But it will not work once you swap SIM

Future is M-pesa. To avoid clashing in future Mpesa should be a separate company .

It is difficult to use sometimes doesn't update our offer current info

The whole idea is really good and quite helpful but the intention of the module of spying in it makes one feel insecure.

Can't register mobile number bcoz of error requesting SMS

the app gets confused on a twin simcard phone....also improve on your mpesa menu...

Mpesa should get engaged in all sector's of the economy.

This app is good and has come at the right time with regard to current advance technology. I always expect the best from safaricom-"the better option."

This app is useful for transaction history MPESA, and the accuracy is great.

Recent transactions are not showing up limiting usefulness.

Lovely app that helps me keep upto date with my expenditure and incomes.

Its the best way to budget and track where most of my resources are going. That way am able to plan.

Please safaricom lower your transfer lates it's too much compared to other networks
