About sachor
“sachor” is Hebrew for “remember”: 16 young reporters are covering the holocaust. They track down contemporary witnesses, meet young Jews and spot crucial locations, such as Auschwitz, but also Jerusalem — all of this on Snapchat because their audience are young people.
All Snapchat stories will be harboured in “sachor” in the way they were produced: in an upright format, ideal for viewing, clicking on and screenshotting them. The international version contains English subtitles.
A bold project, that wants to underline: Snapchat can be used for high quality journalism.
