إنّ الصبر على المصائب والشدائد من أبرز الصّفات التي دعا الإسلام للالتزام بها، وقد جاءت في ذلك الكثير من النصوص من الآيات الكريمة والأحاديث الشريفة، وإنما يدلّ ذلك على أهمية الصبر ٬ حيث إنّ للصبر العديد من الثمار التي يجنيها صاحبها إذا ما صَبر وقت نزول المصيبة عليه.
