With focus on usability instead of appearance(simple UI) this app will allow you to compress large photos into smaller sized photos with very less or negligible loss in quality. Now you do not require any desktop or laptop computers with special software for image compression. Apart from compressing photos this app can also resize photos for you.
Some features of Photo Compress:
1. Compress, Resize, Crop photos
2. Compress or Resize multiple photos at once (See help provided in the app to know how to use it)
3. Allows you to decide quality of compressed image
4. Share your compressed photo(s) from the app
5. See preview after compressresizecrop operation. If not satisfied 'Reset Changes' and try again with different values
6. You decide to keep photo Metadata(ex: EXIF) data or not.
7. Change location where compressed photos are kept.
8. Allows to replace original file with compressed file.

1. Save your internet data. So share even more
2. Save your phone storage space if you are running out of memory
3. Use this photos to upload to website which demand photo of less than specified size (example 50kb max).

Sad that they market the Pro version as being able to choose the output directory. What they don't specify is that the SD card is not an available directory!! Wish I hadn't wasted the money. That was my only reason for upgrading. I'll Update my rating if you fix this issue!!

Upgraded to Pro version as free version which is *supposed* to delete originals and replace with compressed pics. It does not. It saves both- but compressed pics are saved on device storage. I have to delete originals from SD card, go back to device storage, select & move compressed pics from Photo Compress Pro folder & move back to SD card. Cumbersome. Time consuming. Fix it to do this AUTOMATICALLY and I will upgrade rating & review to "perfect." Thanks.

Dishonest description. Pro version "replace and exit" does not replace. Multiple file convert does not ask to replace, as advertised. Tsk.

I had high hopes for this app. I was so hopeful, I paid for the pro upgrade WITHOUT EVEN TRYING THE FREE VERSION. I'm SO let down right now. Despite looking so promising and user friendly, when used, it did exactly...SQUAT!! It said it compressed, and resized, and every other function used. It said my test photos were saved to my chosen directory. IT LIED. There's nothing saved - ANYWHERE. I'd like a refund. Refunding my lost time would be nice too. It's HISTORY!! A COMPLETE WASTE OF EFFORT!!

But Everything time Compress only 10 images/Files Each time. So plse Solve this Issue & upgrade & Compress all Scanned Files each time. Every time we have select 10 files & Compress then Select 10 files & Compress its a Bore& Irritated Work

I have the paid version and did not ask for a refund because it is not expensive and I want to help the developer. After the latest update the functionality went to hell. The app now rotates the photos at its own will, screwing up the proportions and making the photos useless. NEEDS URGENT CARE. PLEASE FIX THE APP. UPDATE. After your instructions, ""Open PhotoCompress Pro Settings from the app and turn Off 'Keep Metadata' option."", the app is working again properly. You need to make that the default position and allow whoever needs the metadata to chose it. I am already using the free and only version of ""Reduce Photo Size" which is not less efficient than yours, but has a better compression engine and is much faster. I'll give you 3 stars. Actually 4. Not 5, because the competition is better and free.

I've clicked replace and exit after all my compressions but there are still 2 copies of the photo, the original and the compressed version. When I specified a different storage location, the app simply didn't work any more.

I would give five stars if I didn't have my pictures saved in a specific folder named photo compress. Otherwise, a good and simple little app that lets you save data and storage by reducing size and compressing pictures.

Click on chose photo from gallery. Click on photo. NOTHING HAPPENS. Paid for Pro version. Using Samsung Galaxy Tab S. (And annoyingly it always jumps to portrait mode)
