Bachao is a mobile app for personal security especially designed for women.
We live in a world full of uncertainties most of which we have little or no control over. Our safety does not have to be one of those uncertainties.
Bachao can be used to keep trusted friends informed of your location when travelling to a new city or staying out late.
Apart from this Bachao is created to help mitigate the danger in various situations. As Horace said :
Who can hope to be safe? who sufficiently cautious? Guard himself as he may, every moment's an ambush.
Bachao provides two main services in the event of a crime: 1) It sends an alarm via SMS to one or more trusted friends and 2) it records a video which can serve as a digital witness when no live witnesses are around. The message that your friends receive includes location information to help them get possible help for you.

It's a brilliant initiative but I would recommend that you test it again. I have a HTC One X+ and I couldn't add any contacts that I wanted. It was very glitchy and would run very slow. Ill give it 5* if you work on all the problems because, like I said, it's an application worth having! Cheers

This is a crappy application. There was no need to rush this application into Play Store. It is only going to discourage people into using this app. Please fix this app, test it in all those slower mobile phones before making it public. I have Nexus phone and the app does not even run properly in it. Video is Skewed, showing in sideways.
