AVG Cleaner for Xperia™

I am having the same troubles with the cache thingy. I clean.. It doesnt clean. I go into my "avg antivirus performance' to the 'task killer' and kill the cleaner, only then may I have a chance to clean my cache. Sometimes analysing can do the trick.. Never the less.. I have to go through all this procedure to have the satisfaction when seeing.." Cleaned".. Only since the Marshmallow update from lollipop happened. PS... Message block as well as call block please...

Delete text messages? Shouldnt have to have 2 diff apps for this. I have free texting after all. Makes my xperia m4 aqua run hot lately. Recently uninstalled. Still perfect for a more casual phone user

I used to have an overheating issue with the phone. Especially when video chatting for extended periods of time. Now it gets warm, but not hot to the touch. Definitely getting the pro when my trial is over!

Well overall its good, but i don't know that clean download history would also clean the downloaded files,, i lost some important data as result. I'm not sure was it my fault or this app doing wrong but i'm not sure there are people that want to clean its downloaded files when clean its download history...

The performance of this App is excellent. It freed up 4 gb of space instantly on my sony z3. Optimize my battery life, boast my RAM and clean up junk. My phone is now working efficiently like new. Rated as 5 star by me because others app cleaner could not free up such space.

Tried many others, and found this the best.i know have some minor issues, but they all do. I'm sure the AVG team work hard to get 5 stars. Good luck

This app although efficient, has a huge craving for battery power. The battery will be completely discharged after less than 6 hours since fully recharged (with no activity on my part)

I haven't tried that many other cleaning apps but this one really seems to cover all the bases. From history caches to pointless pictures or double takes. It can easily clear gigabytes of space.

Has never worked properly! What am I paying for? Continually telling me it has stopped, and asking me to report it! I do, but nothing changes. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, it still won't run properly. Fix it or give me my money back. And stop sending me ads for your products, I paid for an ad free app. I have now been charged twice for the same app! What is going on? Please refund one of the two fees you have charged me! This app is so intrusive. I can't turn off the constant reminders. At least answer my questions, and stop hassling me for a five star rating. If I could give you a minus rating I would.

Although I click on "clear", it doesn't do anything. I do it by reaching the phone's own interface. About "Running App" section, it shows zero app and %100 ram free even I open many games at the same time. I think your app is mocking us. I would like to get my money back.

Nice little app. Keeps ya phone working well. Only complaint is the repeat photo sorting. Even once chosen I've to delete or keep a picture it will ask again bringing up the same pics. Bit annoying. But not bad at all.

I have this installed to manage storage/ space. The flashy graphics lead you to believe it clears caches and history. It doesn't work at all and manual clearing is always required instead. It's utterly useless - Don't buy it!

It's a good cleaner but is quite slow. I have the premium version yet my paired devices are still bombarded with other item pop-ups from AVG.

This app gives me so much more room on my phone and clears space that I didn't even know was being taken up by junk. I also have AVG PRO for security as well as clearing up space in my phone, and encrypting info on my phone and SD card. Couldn't live without either one of these apps! Thanks AVG!

So at last it appears to work properly it's a good app now and does what it says on the tin. UPDATE - The cache cleaner does not work do not be fooled, the cleaner says that it has been cleaned but actually it hasn't touched it, as investigations the the app section of the settings menu reveals shame really as its a nice app to use for the other functions but the one you get for doesn't work and lies to you that it does.

Like the app will enough. Has a good review facility before cleaning anything. However it will crash every so often (Sony Xperia Z2), could be conflict with other apps though. Thanks.

Had full version as a promo now expired, don't see any more feature in the free version, just ads and now everything more difficult to get to. Takes forever to see what apps are running before allowing to kill, other similar apps do it well, instantly and also free...

Sony chose AVG for a reason, Sony has always made a competitive product and are one of the few devices that come preloaded with a security and optimization app. I trust it more than third party apps. Sure Android is generally safe and optimal, but in this day and age it never hurts to have a reputable app to cross examine that claim.

I love this app, but lately when i try to clean the caches it starts jumping, and it doesn't clean them. My phone is saying there is something wrong with the app. I get this app every year. This is the first time I've ever had trouble with this app. I don't know what to do, i have restarted it, un installed it. And restarted my Sony Xperia phone. And then installed the app again. Is there any way you can help me to fix this problem please. And it seriously needs to be updated just like AVG PRO protection was just a week ago brilliant app I have to uininstall it. And I still have till January 2018 paid subscription with it I don't know what else to do

Due to endless and daily notifications to clean up, I decided to buy the ultimate version which was claiming that it will 'auto-clean ' without further notifications. So I did a mistake. It is still the same as before and I have to deal with daily notifications. Going through options and settings also didnt do anything. The software doesnt do what it promises. A waste of time and money. I removed the software...

This app hasn't been updated since 2016 and its cache cleaning problem is still there. This is terrible service and with all the no-word/one-word 5* reviews makes me believe this is a clear attempt to swallow up the negative reviews that the app is getting. No response from the developers and no idea when or even IF this issue will be fixed. I would steer clear from "subscribing" if I were you. There will be no way to get a refund.

Bizarre results.... Scan results provides option to delete my least used apps. 3 of the 4 shown are my most used apps, by far. Out of my 40 apps these are the ones I rely on (email etc) I clear cache but it's still there. 'Similar photos' for cleaning show better/worse options, which are based on who knows what.

The photo cleaner keeps suggesting the same photo's, even after they've already been deleted using this app. This may be due to other apps such as Google photos or one drive replacing deleted photos when synching with the phone. It's annoying but my bit be this apps fault.

On first use I thought it was going to be a complicated app to use. But, it's set up well easy to use and very user friendly. The fact it pics out bad pictures in your photo album to a skip you would like to delete to save space is great.

Was a reasonable app. Until they started using forced pop-ups to sell you stuff, additionally to the usual adds etc. You often find yourself accidentally tapping a pop-up instead of the 'done' to exit a task.

Would be better if it wasn't telling me to clean everyday. Notification everyday with the same thing to clean pretty much the same amount out. Either it is not cleaning properly or it just doesn't work properly. Might get a 5 star if it worked as awesome as it did when I had my z3, currently using on experia x

The app offers to clean, goes through the cleaning routine, SAYS it has cleaned x amount of junk but the junk is still there. I can use it to access a list of apps and then clean each manually, which works, but on its own it cleans nothing. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium (Android)

Helps to get more space and get rid of the garbage finally. User friendly interface. Some issues though: stopped unexpectedly several times when I pressed Back; after I cleared cache it did not refresh the status and showed the same amount of cache.

I bought the pro version of this app several months ago. Immediately I noticed an issue with the cache cleaning function. It simply didn't clean the cache regardless of how many times I tried. I reported the issue and was told to restart the phone. I did but the cache didn't clean. I reported it and was then told it was the way Android worked and the cache couldn't actually be cleaned. Months later the problem still remains. So why do they advertise that this app cleans cache?

Just do & going through it all. So far working really well. Help with find the delete all my photos from bad low light etc to 2 or more of same pic's. If it keeps up this was I'll be updating to full Pro. Will let u fellas know in 30days or less I guess

I am using only part of its functionality. I miss some of 360 features like performance turning or lowering down processor temperature. I also don't like feature removing photos from my phone. It's annoying and showing different pictures as the same one :-/

Just because a lot of photos were taken in the dark doesn't mean that they are bad. App keeps wanting to delete them. How to tell it to mind its own business? Otherwise it seems to work as advertised.

3RD EDIT: Again useless. No cache cleaning. 2ND EDIT: Wow. You fixed it! It seems to clear everything perfectly now. Thanks. Changing my rate from 1 to 5. EDIT: Still doesn't work. Useless app. MY PREVIOUS OPINION B4 THE UPDATE: Shows the amount of cache data, then it takes some time to "clean" but at the end there's no actual cleaning the cache. Even more annoying is that when I clean the cache through the App Manager, AVG informs that I've done that through their app!

I don't find it user friendly at all. It slows me down which is incredibly frustrating. I've had issues using apps since which had previously been no problem. Apart from that it would be good.

Do not use this app to move files from memory to SD card... It said memory full, so opted to move photos and apps... It moved apps which would/could not run of SD, so I had to reinstall, and God knows what happened to my photos? Either cannot find, or cannot open, this includes photos taken in holiday!!! Not impressed, do not use, remove this rubbish app!!!

Where's the latest update for Indonesia region? I've been experiencing problems with this app, the cleaner won't erase the cache, residual files, in other words, IT'S NOT WORKING, SOON AFTER I UPGRADE IT TO A PAYED VERSION' What a waste of money...! Fix it please. How come the latest update for Indonesia region were on September 2016...???? For your knowledge, it's almost 2018 now!

Is quick, and I love that I get a notification as soon as I need space so I don't run into any problems with my storage space being taken up so much that I can't get what I need to be a automatically saved. And all I have to do is hit 'Clean'. Not to mention kills all unnecessary apps not being used, which in turn saves my battery and my phones processing speed! <3 it!

It's a bit annoying to have an app decide for you what is and isn't a good photograph. Especially when you happen to be a photographer! The rest is fine and works, but loose the "you should get rid of you photos" if I want to delete them I'm perfectly capable of doing it without prompting!

I think we are all guilty of forget to delete unwanted file, photos, apps of our phones. This app really helps me to regular clean up these unwanted files as well as bad, duplicate photos. Would like a way to see the difference between photos stored on sd card to photo storage. But all in all a great and useful app that works well.

Perfect cleaning app. Not only good for keeping cache and memory low but also for keeping the phone organised. As in it shows bad pictures or review all the photos so you can decide whether you want to get rid of them or save it.
