Frozen app... Works great on iOS but not on Android!

There REALLY needs to be more notification options. And please work on the load times! Opening and reopening the app feels so sluggish

Love the service, but if you pause when writing a message then it has a tendency to reload the screen and wipe what you were drafting. Super frustrating.

The Back button exits the app instead of going back a screen. Very frustrating

Perfect application for team communication and for personal organisation as well.

The app is improving, but there are still some issues. The constant having to reload the entire app when it starts or after it loses focus needs to be reworked. And why is there still no feature that I can turn on to enable ALL notifications, including char messages directly in a channel? Overall, I have been happy with it. It just seems to be getting better and better, but the noted gripes have existed for a long time... There is just a little ways more it needs to go before I could put it on the same level as apps like Slack.

Desktop app is amazing. Android app leaves a lot to be desired. It's painfully slow and feels bloated even on flagship devices like my Pixel. Notifications are very unintuitive and are seemingly only available for direct messages, not groups, which is annoying. Why does the app have to reload every time I open it instead of remaining in memory to speed up the already slow interface? I love the concept of this and it's far superior and more robust than Slack, but their mobile app blows this out of the water.

App gets stuck in a channel...notification doesn't pop up... App freezes. It used to work, not sure why its is a trash app now

Takes forever to sync with server version and adding entries or editing is painfully slow. Basically unusable on current form. Pity as the desktop app is good..

As an access portal to the service it works great, however there are glaring issues: 1. App is not persistent. Press "back" one too many times and it closes. Then you need to reload on another run. For a communication/messaging app this is not acceptable. 2. Notifications are not delivered outside of the application. When application is focused, I see all the notifications but once I leave to another app, only push notifications for mentions and direct messages appear, irrespectively of the channel config in the app. 3. (Minor but annoying) swipe from left only reveals sidebar if swiped from top of the screen. 4. Can't attach files from my Google drive via the app.

Latest version from 28Nov17 DOES NOT WORK on my Samsung Tab 10.1, running Android 7.0. Simply hangs. Previous version worked Great!! UPDATE: just down loaded latest version (2 hrs after last version/post above). Now works perfectly. New version problem appears solved. Great. Upgraded *s.

Won't let me log in any more. Also has problems attaching files and photos. This has been reported months ago to the devs without fix. Looks like my team will move to discord. Edit: login issue resolved. File attachment is still super bugged and often deletes what I attach when I send it. Also can only attach one file/photo at a time which is tedious. Fix those things I would 5 star it.

Frequently freezes after splash screen ends and heading of team chat is shown. Loading of messages and opening sidebar take forever although I have good internet.

As of the 11/28/17 update, I can't login in on my Samsung S8. When it does work, it's a pretty great competitor to slack. My whole company switched over to Ryver and have been more than happy with it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** UPDATE ** The Ryver team patched the problem with the 11/28 update issue, so now it 's working again for all of my devices (S8, S5, Tab S2, and S4) The team responded to my support ticket e-mail very fast and acknowledged that they were aware of the problem and were already investigating. They definitely seem like a good team to get behind!

The app was great until update on 11/28/17. I can not log in, all I get is the loading page & nothing. NEED TO FIX ISSUE.

The app is great. They've listened to feedback and improved it. I still wish we could have better notifications.

Doesn't work with new chrome build. So this isn't a native app. Done with this shlock

After the recent update, Ryver remained on the loading screen forever. The notifications showed up, but when i open them, it lead to the loading screen.

App stopped worked after update on 2017-11-28. Fix and I'll bump back up the star rating.

Since latest update 12 hrs ago I cannot log in on Galaxy S7

Horrible Slack knockoff. Notifications barely worked and when they did it was incredibly annoying. Used it for a class for a group project and was constantly missing important messages. It git stuck in a chat after an update and was asking me to view the changes. Had to reinstall just use it again. Don't do this to yourself. Just get Slack or GroupMe.

Premium by function/feature is very better than by capacity (Slack limits number of messages in searching). Not sure about performance and stability, what I wish now is only "react" feature to chat/post/comment -- thanks in advance.

I want to like it. I downloaded it 2 days ago and it worked just fine at first but now when I pull the app up, the whole screen is unresponsive, just frozen. I tried reinstalling it but nothing changed. Unusable now.

I really liked this app until about a week ago! It updated on its own and since then whenever I start it the app is frozen! Contacted support twice, fast replies, but 0 resolution! Might just be that this new version is not supporting Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.10.1 with Android 5.0.2....real shame....

Stuck in the channel window (messages are not shown in the channel and the whole app is frozen). Not a single occurrence. Nexus 5X

1 thing that is REALLY annoying is when I'm scrolled up to catch up on team chat, Ryver keeps bringing me back to the bottom. I have to keep fighting with the app to find where I was again and because of this is killing precious time. People messaging me left and right I can't catch up because this stupid app keeps bringing me back to the bottom everytime someone says something! Fix it please! I will update this review when I see this problem resolved, its anti productive

The app is amazing as it helps you to connect with other employees in an organisation. But you need to fix out the bugs. It really pisses me off.

Since last week this app locks up on my G5. Reloaded 3x. No luck. Edit...locked up again. Uninstalling/reinstall to get it going. If you do the same, restart after the uninstalling.

Having Trouble about Logging It every time..... It should be Logged once in a phone like Viber. Moreover only tough passwords are allowed and the system sometimes even cant recognise!!

No messages are viewable. I received notifications of ne messages, but a white screen hen trying to access through the app. It's broken, you broke it, so fix it!

Freezes constantly. Inability to press back button without it restarting. Notifications are not immediate through app, more so via email notification. Not user friendly.

The functionality of the app is great but: - The initial loading time of the app is too long. - The side menu doesn't work like and Android side menu: the side menu hamburger button is too small on my screen, you can't access it by a swipe from the left (at least not easily), it displaces the main screen instead of going over it and in order to go back to the main screen you HAVE TO press the hamburger button instead of pressing the displaced main screen - The "OPEN FORUMS" name is not suggestive; it would be called PUBLIC CONVERSATIONS or something like that. - The three dots horizontal menu on the top right corner in all three types of conversations doesn't make sense. Firstly because that kind of menu doesn't follow Android design guidelines and secondly because you could replace it's functionality because it only has the options to "search" and "refresh", where the search functionality is overlapped by the persistent search bar on the main screen, and the refresh one could be replaced by adding a pull down to refresh action, just like the one in Gmail. - The user settings options and the options that appear when you press the group name could me moved to a vertical three dots menu on the main screen or a "Settings" button under Direct Messages, instead of adding the different settings that we pressed to the sidebar. - When on the "My Settings" Activity there should be an up button (the arrow showing left) instead of the hamburger button, and when pressing the android back button it should go back to the main screen instead of closing the app. - The integrations activity doesn't work well. When pressing it it goes to a badly made activity with overlapping text and a scroll bar. Freezes often when activating. Have to clear data and start over.

Not sure why the App thinks its already installed on my laptop( its not) and why the only option to download the app is to another fone... duuuuh
