Recurrent Notification Manager for Android
Installed the Pro version on Nougat 7.1.1, will not repeat messaging notifications no matter what settings I tried.
Stops working at the most inopportune times!
This app used to work very well but recently it has started misbehaving. Buttons are gone so I have to guess where to press to confirm settings. Even if configured to monitor messenger (SMS) only, this app goes bananas when checking regular email. A bug fix update would be well received!
In one of the version updates along the way it has lost being to see the apps I wanted it to monitor. Alerts stopped for my email app and chat app. Tried deleting the app from the list and adding it again, but the apps no show in the app list the program brings up... Otherwise was a uniquely useful app when it was working.
Seems to not work on Nougat cyanogen on note4. Keeps repeatedly notifying every minute or see. It's as if it keeps renewing the persistent notification.
Did exactly what I wanted to start with then all of a sudden stopped using notify tone and just vibrates like &!#_$ crazy even tho every vibrate option is disabled...very frustrating :-(
This app works for me. I only use it for Messenger and Outlook. It resolved a problem I had with the notifications either not being issued or repeating for ever on occasion. Obviously some of the reviews indicate problems with their setup, so this would be one of those give it a try apps. Might work well for you as it did for me. Once in a while I still get a run-on notification. I found an app "Clear All Notifications" that solved that problem. I give it a four because of a simple design flaw which they should be able to fix. The add icon (red circle with a plus in the middle) at the bottom right, blocks the third item 3-dot option - Disable, remove, settings. That red circle should be moved to the left of the screen since it will only cover the icon of the application (no big deal). Also, an addition they should make - add a clear all notifications! It is a Notification Manager after all.
Works occasionally but mostly it doesn't work = complete waste of time, energy, and money. (I'm using Android 6.0.1. Maybe this works with older versions of Android, but then why are there so many 1 star ratings?) Currently I am using Light Flow Legacy version instead of this, which mostly works (the repeat audio notifications work reliably (which is what really matters to me), but some of the settings don't work).
Not getting any notifications. I Enabled the app for Notifications management. Also, is the "green" switch position enabled or disabled? It doesn't work either way, but I am still curious. Please help me get this working. I am running the professional version that I paid for.
I keep getting "there are no active notifications" notifications from this app. It does work on sms notifications which I setup, but the warning when there are no notifications is absurd.
I will gladly pay for this if the text detection gets fixed. Right now it recurs for every notification from Slack, ignoring my text filter setting.
If I missed a notification the chances are I would miss it 30s later too. How about 30 minutes?
Using the limited version, stability seems fine but 2 issues so far. Flashes blue no matter what color I choose. Also, flash speed is slow no matter what rate I choose. 5 seconds between flashes whether it's set to slow, medium or fast. No help or feedback option in app to contact developer.
it would be better for business if free users if you could change more than one
Since I got Android 6.0, this app no longer works as expected. Alerts some times but not always. Worked perfectly before.
When alerting, it vibrates, but no LED or sound. Have tried both notification and alarm streams. Rebooted. No go.
Thank you so so much for making this app, it saves me loads of time n money. Love it
Robert, the developer, is very responsive to tech support requests. I have a motorola Turbo 2 & it is a little different from other phones so it wasn't working quite right. Robert made it work within 2 days by sending me some beta versions of the software & having me try them. Now he has improved the product so you can optionally set the notification to the "alarms" audio stream, so the notification will sound even if your phone is set to priority ringtone at night when you are sleeping if you want.
Excellent app for my S6 Edge Plus running 5.1.1. Have tried all the alternatives, but nothing has really worked, the beauty of this app is that each reminder can be tailored with individual sounds and reminder durations. The developer has been really great and supportive, certainly a joy to deal with - if in any doubt, just contact them before putting any negative rating, hopefully it will work as well as it has done for me.
YES!! A repeating reminder that works with SMS and other apps. This one works with Nexus 5x where other repeating reminders didn't. Most other were buggy and unreliable but this one works flawlessly. THANKS RYO for a great app!!! UPDATE** Quit working with latest updates. turns itself off a soon as you minimize it. Not good for now. ***UPDATE*** 12/24/2015. THESE GUYS WORKED HARD FIXING BUG IN NEXUS 5X Android 6.0...works perfect now
No notification sound at all after this update. Rating down to 2 until fixed.
Do not working in android 5.1.1

Excellent app! Works great on HTC One M8. No more 5 minutes limit on led notification light :) .Thanks!
This trial version would be more effective if it allowed full use for only a certain amount of time. Instead, it only allows you to configure 1 app, which doesn't help if we want to ensure the app is indeed working and not conflicting with multiple apps set up.
In my opinion, if an app is free, then the primary function of it's title should be free with other enhancements available for purchase. All I wanted was an app that would set my app notifications to repeat if I don't read them within a certain time interval, they way I can set my texts to do that. This app shouldn't be have recurrent in the name because that's a feature you have to pay for.

This is exactly what I needed to be notified several times of an incoming text. It's very customizable too. Don't know yet if it is a battery hog though. Try it out.
Not sure if this app does anything at all, definitely not as advertised...
The free version is limited to assisting with one app, which makes this practically worthless.
Doesnt work for the app i needed to have repeated notifications from
Dislike each other applications.
Just what I needed!
Initially I had a problem with the pro version where I could not install more than one application. The developer was very sincere to help me solved the problem. It does work perfectly as I expected, much appreciated.

Only 6 apps appeared that could be managed. The rest never loaded... (Edit was 1 star but now 4). I reinstalled and it worked the 3rd time. Luckily I was patient but that's a bug that's probably worth looking into.
Can't change to any other ringtone.. Damn..
I was mainly interested in the "if the created notification contains a specific text" part but that options seems to be missing from my version. Even purchased the pro version hoping it would have the options but I can't find it so far. =/ Edit: Author's reply seems to indicate this function will now be supported in older android versions. Edit2: After my old Gingerbread/ICS phone died, I replaced it with a JB/Kitkat one and this app does exactly what I needed. :) (Changed from 3 to 5 stars)
Only allows you to manage the notifications of ONE app in the free version. I know that the developers need financial support, but seriously, ONE APP?!

This is really one of the best apps I have seen. Works really well. And the author is extremely helpful. I had an issue with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with the Pro version and the author resolved it without any hesitation.
