For root users, this app allows you to create and automate CPU and GPU via the Profile manager.
For non root users, you're able to get information about the CPU (governor, speeds, etc).
You can define profiles which include:
- CPU governor
- Max CPU Frequency
- Min CPU Frequency
- CPU voltages for all frequencies (if kernel supports it)
- I/O Scheduler
- GPU frequencies and voltages (if kernel supports it)
- Charger voltages (if kernel supports it)
You can define profiles which are automatically activated on these conditions:
- Battery low
- High temperature
- Screen on/off
- Charging
- Connected to PC
- Voice call started
Also, you can view CPU information, like duration of time CPU spends in specific state, governor max/min CPU speed and much more.
Used permissions:
- Write external storage: To backup profiles
- Receive boot completed: To automatically start service on boot (enable in settings)
- Read phone state: To automatically detect voice call start/stop
- Internet: Added small ads (via Google Ads)
- Billing: For donation control (you can purchase PRO version inside the app)
If you have problems or issues with the app, please, send a logcat.
Tested with:
- Samsung Galaxy Note (N7000) with Android 4.1.2
- HTC Desire with CM7
- LG Nexus 4 (not rooted)
Free version includes Ads, it's limited to 3 profiles and isn't capable of making backup of your settings.
You can buy the full version inside the app in order to remove the Ads and get full app capabilities.

It's nice when working but it stops automatically applying profiles a few short hours after installation. On day one everything was working fine but on day 2 it started skipping some profile changes. On day 3 no profile changes whatsoever. Re-installing it got me back to square one setting profiles and then the failure all over again. Uninstalled for now. Maybe a future version will have less amnesia.

Can't figure how to adjust CPU min and max and zero instructions online. Should be able without rooting. See no way to do so. Tops.

Used to depend on another app for CPU control but decided to try this one out after a new ROM install.... Its one of the best on the market n deserve more downloads n support... No crashed experienced so far n it also carry voltage controls... 2 thumbs up *******

On my CM11 for S4 MINI. Can now limit the power certain apps use like games so my battery doesn't drain so fast. Top notch!

I'm still new to having a rooted phone. Having said that, it took me days to play with the app and figure things out.... I didn't know what I was looking at. But I will say that my phone is as fast (if not faster) than when I pulled it out of the box. So glad I got this app!

But my device can savely be clocked up to 70 degrees, so this limits my CPU performance for no good reason.

I run into problem when I upgraded to Lollipop, I use profiles activated by applications. When creating such profiles, I cannot select all applications now...... only certain applications are available for selection, not all, so I ended up not being able to throttle my CPU down to certain speeds when running certain apps..... any solution to that?

The save option is available but only when the profile is turn of manual. Before the update change was possible with the profile on. Maybe it's a bug? But it works for now.

This is a very nice CPU Adjuster app! Definitely worth the $1.70 to have more than 3 custom Profiles! Just one note; For the Temperature Profile, it doesn't tell you what it's monitoring the temperature of? The CPU? The Battery? Both? This is extremely important for me to know, because my CPU running too hot at times is why I installed this app! Oh and for those of you not having any luck with "AnTuTu" & "SetCPU" in KK & Lollipop, this one worked! Those didn't! Emails to Dev unanswered though! (-:

This is the most complete app after setcpu. Good level of adjustments and settings. Love it!
