Amplify Battery Extender -Root

I can get about 3 hours of idle with data enabled on my Galaxy S4 from a slightly swollen battery, in combo with Greenify. It helps phone users working in outdoor remote area often lacks of electrical source for charging. Another breakthrough is that this app can help people avoid upgrading phone for the sake of more standby time, thus, a wiser consumer in this planned-obsolence-motivated industry. Also the app reserves the right back to you to control the constant network and location checking by Google that steals the battery juice when your phone is idle. Well done, Ryan.

The most powerful combo. My 2 year old phone with a battery that used to runs out in less than half a day, now lasts a whole day even with lots of games and heavy use. Thanks to these. they're really awesome.. (My phone is rooted and I have Xposed framework)

This is by far the best battery saving app out there, and it's not a fake battery saver like most in the "top apps". My ROM's location services is constantly draining my battery and using this app allowed me to block it. It was producing 1.2 million wakelocks in a mere 2 hours!

when I start it up it asks for root so I give it root access it says root access granted, then it checks to see if its running, then xposed, then root - after that I get an error message that says my device isnt rooted. In superuser it shows that it is rooted. Sorry for rating so low, Ive heard this is a good app but I dont know how to email you directly to ask for advice. Hopefully youll respond to this.

Moto g4 rooted and verified. The app loads and starts checking and says something went wrong. Says I'm not rooted but I DID see the pop-up saying the app had been granted super user

The app would be fine, I'm assuming, if it didn't need Xposed to work. Most of us have Android 7.x.x Nougat and so this won't work with that. I'll give it 3 stars. -1 because it's incompatible with Android N, and -1 for forcing Xposed to download. There is no Xposed framework for Android 7.0, Nougat. Ask Rovo89.

I PAID for this app. Now it says I don't have root even though I do and plenty of the apps detect it. So I can't use it. What a waste of money. I'm guessing it has something to do with modern phones using system less root, but since this app hasn't been updated in a year, the developers obviously haven't accounted for it.

Seems to work well so far. Initially I had trouble getting it to work on my Moto G 2015 because it claimed that my phone wasn't rooted. It turned out that I hadn't installed the Xposed framework app, selected Amplify and rebooted. Then I was able to initialise.

practically a must nowadays. with googles ongoing prejudice against pre marshmallow custom roms, amplify does do wonders. more functionality would be appreciated like backups, batching, disabling via main screen etc.

Downloaded it with loads of hope. However it just refuses to recognize root on my s7 exynos. All other root apps are working perfectly fine. Even contacted developer but no response.

Doesn't even recognize donation. Give my money back. Everytime I need to Open app from play Store. Please refund or update it asap

The wizard need corrected, if you are root but don't have xposed installed it complains that root isn't allowed which is confusing. After this once xposed is installed, the module enabled and device rebooted it refuses to detect the module as installed :/

Developer makes the assumption all rooted users are running xposed, not likely. Requires root!? Yea we know, what we don't know is it requires xposed framework which isn't posted in the description and doesn't work on stock ROMs usually and in most cases will cause bootloop or brick! Be up front about the requirements and stop wasting people's time.

I'm addicted to flashing. Anyway to adds a profile back up and restore to restore my settings for the different wakelock and alarms? Would make this app perfect.

It says it's blocking stuff, but does it really make a difference? Some testing needed, but many thanks for the premise!

I know you probably have other issues to fix and stuff to upgrade here BUT..... The donation bug should take precedence I will keep rewriting this review and it will stay on top until you fix this Unbelievably stupid error

Hey for some reason it says that my phone isn't rooted and that I need to visit 213109984. I'm running Android 7.0 nougat on a nexus 6p. The device is rooted with SuperSU installed. I'd really hate to not be able to use this because i had previously donated for the pro version...was working fine when I was on marshmallow, but not when I updated to nougat. Other apps like greenify etc all work great. All except for amplify.

Broken. Says I don't have root when I do. Verified in SU that I did in fact grant access.

I've rummaged through all of the android service applications out there to stop that stupid Google Services Wakelock and this is the absolute best app for it, however you will need the pro version as the basic Amplify is complete garbage and this should be listed as a Pay App from the get-go. 10/10 for application, 6/10 for dev honesty.

Effective when it works, but constantly loses the pro features which makes it basically useless Sick of reinstalling it to try and get it to work. Don't have this problem with any other apps, just this one so its obviously a problem with the app itself.

This app plus Greenify app work like a charm. However, you will need to install the Better Battery Status app, which will give you information about wake lock and alarm occurred on your phone, as you cannot gain a full benefit on random restriction of apps' wake locks and alarms. I will give it five stars only if it has a backup and restore function. Because I have to limit each individual app myself, restoring my phone can take me a week to reconfigure all battery drainer apps.

Tried this apk for a grib! pro v too! Uninstalled doesn't save any battery like AT ALL! Tried er on 3 different devices too! Great idea! just doesn't do as described! This apk = Greenify pro v doesn't mean better battery either. I do better on battery without it!

If you are serious about saving your phone battery than buy this app. It is universal app, not for specific device and I like it a lot. This app saved a lot of money for me. It was, buy battery bank or this app. Decision is obvious. I am using it with greenify and powernap and naptime and smart network, I know I am crazy but it works without issue.

I took an hour yesterday to limit a lot of different wakelocks and services just to find out that after restarting my phone all the settings are gone! I can't waste hours everytime I restart my phone! Please do something about it dev! Otherwise I love the app when it works. Thanks!

In the description it says: "Without the pro package, you can control the worst battery hogs: NlpWakelock, NlpCollectorWakeLock, ALARM_WAKEUP_LOCATOR, and ALARM_WAKE_ACTIVITY_DETECTION." But after installing (and rebooting for Xposed activation) I realise I can only limit the first 2 (wakelocks) and not the 2 basic alarms (or any alarm, for that matter) without the donation package.. I live in a country with crippling currency exchange controls so I can't donate nothing, not even one dollar for much I'd like to donate even more

With or without this app my phone Galaxy S6 last for 5 hours with my normal use. I thought this app can extend at least an hour or so but yet nothing is change.

This app systematically can reduce wild wakelocks. But for the love of everything that is holy, it is not magical either, it is not going to add 5 hours to your screen on time. Plus you can't go around stopping random wakelocks either as you risk boinking your phone. Go to XDA and read on how to use the damn app. Wow, people are not very bright.

Incredibly useful app. Makes a significant difference to my daily battery life. Could not rate this app more highly. Would love to see more Wakelock descriptions and recommended settings though, they're amazingly useful! :)

It's completely befuddling that some people want to use this app and can't figure out how to back it up with the data. I've been using it for years on a variety of phones it just keeps getting better.

Effective and reliable, developer made constant updates. Although most of custom roms have ways to regulate wakelocks. This app is the best way and doesn't hurt Android functionality. I give 5 stars for this one.

It's hard to tell anymore, I have Greenify, Power Nap and Amplify running and I have a suspicion one of them are conflicting with the other. Amplify does seem to do different stuff in comparison to other battery savers, I'll definitely be getting the Pro package to test out the full potential. Something is making my CPU get hot though, I'm only saying this because I believe it to be related to the power saver triage I have running. But like I was saying, Amplify does seem to different things so 5/5!

Used to not be able to have a full day without charging. Now, with Amplify and Greenify, I can end the day at 60%. Thank you for your good work!!!!!

Installed today, activated Xposed module. Didn't do anything with settings, the phone started freezing, impossible to launch Facebook anymore. Is that the way it works? Useless.
