Easily share your real-time location from an Android device's WiFi Hotspot or through Bluetooth. Extremely useful for supplying a location to an Android device that does not have built-in GPS. (ie tablets like the Amazon Fire and HP Touchpad)

Requirements:

- GPS Tether must be installed on both the sharing and receiving devices.
- Must run on at least Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean)
- To receive the location from the sharing device, the receiver must have "Mock Locations" enabled. GPS Tether can do this for you with root access, or open developer settings if you would like to do it yourself.
Note: GPS Tether should work on any Android v4.2+ based device. However, if it is listed in the Play Store as "incompatible" for any of your devices, download the APK from http://www.lucky-always.com

Absolutely great app. Now running my tablet as a sat nav in my car with just one connection to my phone. Wifi for Google maps information and this app shares the GPS data. Without the need for the Bluetooth receiver I've been using. Tried other apps that did nothing before finding this one

I tried a TON of other tethering apps that were outdated, and simply did not work. I was about to up hope until i found this app. Its so simple to use its ridiculous. I use this to share my G4 gps with my Fire HD6 tablet in the car. Now i have a dedicated gps device in the car!

This allowed me to use Google Maps on my non-GPS enabled tablet (when tethered to my phone). I can even play Pokemon Go on that tablet now, though that took a bit more work since Pokemon doesn't allow "mock" location data.

I install it on my kindle fire and lg g5 bluetooth enabled and kindle was set up for it. App does not connect at all to each other. No real directions on how to get it set up.

Great for adding gps capability to cheap tablets like Amazon Fire. The only downside is my hotspot will shutdown when there is a weak or no signal; it is very annoying on long trips or in areas with weak service. Adding Bluetooth could resolve this.

Spent about an hour trying to connect my tab to s7 edge for my son to play pokemon go. Turned on mock locations, tried wifi and bt. No instructions that I could find. Shouldn't be this difficult.
