Ryanair - Cheapest Fares for Android
Completely awful experience with Ryanair. We were charged the bag fee at the gate even know our bag was much smaller than many other passengers. At one point the woman checking our bag size checked another groups bag which was much larger then ours and waved them through while pointing at us and saying "americano". This soured our entire trip to Italy. We will not be returning.
I can see my upcoming flights but cannot do anything with it. I can't view flight itinerary, check in, view a boarding pass. It's pointless and cannot be relied on if you are abroad.
It used to be great but now it takes ages to launch. Seriously sometimes it takes 10 MINUTES. Please do something about it.
Performance is terrible after last update. Takes several minutes even to login, tried with Wi-Fi and mobile data. Anything I try to handle, I have to "Stand-by, we're loading" for minutes. 5/5 when it works. Had to screenshot my tickets this time.
Why is the app looking for a post code and blocking all entries? It never did before now I can't book my flight.
Over complicated hard sell nonsense that takes 50 clicks to do anything as you wade through relentless "offers" and other useless tack. New addition to an already annoyingly slow app is endless pop ups to see if you want to buy more stuff that they might randomly decide to cancel in the future. App is as cheap and nasty as the company is.
A good app that does what it's designed to do!
After updating it doesn't work anymore. Clear cache, uninstalled, reboot, still not working
Can't view boarding passes and takes ages to load...used to be much better
Doesn't work. It crashes as soon as I tap to open it. Useless.
The app doesnt respond. It was unable to start.
The requested permissions list is absolutely ridiculous.
Can't book. Timeouts all the time
Doesn't show gate/terminal but not even which airport the flight is from!
You are seating in the middle seat, would you like to change?
No problems so far. Simple enough
For tickets works like charm
Saves on paper
Excellent app! Works always
Love flying with Ryanair
It is great.
good
Changing my review to 1 star because this has become from the best app to literally the worst nightmare I've ever had to deal with. I was denied entry into my flight because the app decided to no longer load my boarding pass. Been through hell and back to sort this out and at this point I'll never be using this company to fly anywhere as well. I'd rather pay £50 more and be safe to know I will get to my destination than having to worry whether I'll be allowed into the flight.
Terrible. With their new check in system they automatically sit you apart from people you booked your tickets with, and then ask you to pay more to sit together. They have a million ads to make you pay for extra stuff afterwards.
Not fit for purpose. Trying to book a flight, but every time I pick my nationality from the drop down, all other fields are cleared. And I couldn't add parking to the booking. Hoping for better luck with the website.
Nice app, I use it a lot. Just one bad point is that you cannot enter reservations made with the ESN card and download your boarding passes. It should be fixed as soon as possible
Decent app. Main thing is to be able to download boarding passes, which it does OK. However I will probably have to uninstall as it takes up a lot of memory (for something that is used quite rarely) and it won't allow to be transferred to SD memory. You'll get top marks if you arrange that though.
Terrible app. Won't load boarding passes or online check-in despite stable connection. Pretty sure they just want you to pay the fine for checking in at the airport rather than check in online.
First time I used the app earlier in the year, most things such as downloading boarding passes worked every other time, performance was sluggish and this was generally sub par app, and barely accomplished what it's supposed to. After being told to update the app in order to use it; I can't even log in
From very poor App start in 2015 now its the best flight App ever. So much better than useless BA or Emirates app. This review is about App, not company ;-)
They told us we have to have the app or print the boarding pass or they would take 50 euro fine when we have a screenshot for the boarding pass with which we entered the airport. Just downloaded the app to downvote it. Uninstalling now
Ryanair are very devious, this app allocating seats rows apart, and then asking if we want to pay to sit together. Each of us was placed in the middle of an empty row (same on our outward journey - what a coincidence). Mr O'Leary I will not fly Ryanair in future even if you are the cheapest, unless the only alternative is to walk.
Can't understand why there's so many complaints. This is about the app, not the company. App worked fine for me and saved me money. Easy to use and convenient features.
What is the point of this app? Couldn't make check-in, couldn't retrieve boarding pass. And Ryanair is not able to fix this AT LEAST few weeks already (if not months).
Non EU citizens cannot use mobile boarding passes in this app. Maybe for EU nationals, this app is good. For me as an American, it's pointless.
Why does it have to reload the boarding ticket every time you open the app in multitasking? Took me 5 minutes to reload the boarding passes when I had bad reception
It's a joke. It took me a couple of tries to first find the flight I was looking for. An then another error when I tried to buy the ticket. Come on... It's ridiculous.
This app is quite useless if it doesn't keep in memory the data of the traveler. It sends you advertising as push notifications
The app is as good as Ryanair's customer service : unresponsive and unreliable. Overall unpleasant experience.

App does the job of checking in and booking flights well. It's relatively easy to do and I have not had a problem with the qr codes at the gates. The company was pretty good to fly with, would really recommend priority boarding to make life a lot easier. The only slight annoyance is they do try to get you to buy other flight add-ons through their app frequently as well but I don't know an air line that doesn't.
