Converter: Imperial to Metric

App is specially designed for conversion of imperial units to metric units. It is very useful for pharmacy students and all pharmacist persons who are dealing with the compounding and dispensing of dosage forms based on Latin prescription.
There are two systems of weights and measures: 1. The Imperial system
2. The Metric system
1) IMPERIAL SYSTEM: An old system of weights and measures based on arbitrary and unrelated units like grains, drachms, ounces and gallons.
2) METRIC SYSTEM: It is used in Indian pharmacopoeia. In this system "Kilogram" and “Liter” is the standard unit for measurement of weight and capacity respectively.
