Pocket Cadence

Measure your cycling cadence with your mobile phone - no additional sensors or hardware required.

Simply start the app, drop it into your cycling jersey back pocket, and away you go!
The app provides graphical views of the data, and it is also stored in csv files on the phone.

This is an initial early alpha release - more like a proof of concept - expect some issues.
The app uses machine learning to 'learn' your cycling behavior, so ideally if you put the phone in your pocket the same way each time things should go a little more smoothly.
It needs around ~15 minutes of learning before the cadence estimates start to look reasonable.
The app runs OK in the background with the screen off. If you are having issues then check if you have a task manager running or Android optimization that restricts background app behavior.
