Very annoying that there are ads in a paid for app. Other than that, fascinating

I was reading the July 1863 issue, for which I'd already paid, when up went the pay wall again. A story, limited to little more than the headline, appeared--along with the announcement that if I wanted to go on reading, I'd have to buy the Extra Edition. So I went to Playstore and bought yet another download. And it this page tells me the Extra is installed. Funny, it's not installed on my Android. What am I supposed to do, buy it again? Whoever created this program must have been in a rush. It constantly freezes and crashes, recently closing four times in 35 minutes. And the data is so rife with typos and spelling errors that in places it's barely readable. This app is rapidly becoming more trouble than it's worth.

The coverage of Gettysburg and Vicksburg is great. Following the events day to day gives you a different perspective. A lost piece of American history.
