Brightness for Android
Excellent app, was searching for an app that could make the brightness lower than that of S2 default to preserve battery life and minimise eye strain, and this is it. Not too sure why something like this isn't simply built into Android. Great, simple UI too - keeps things easy to use.
Where has this been my entire life? Finally I can now decrease the brightness to negative values without having to root
I can play games on low brightness now thanks:) if you have supervision problem this app can break your supervision
After a hardware issue that disabled the brightness control in my Moto X ,this app saved my phone from being completely trash.
Use it all the time
Thanks a bunch! Always wanted something like this :)
Works really well

I have purchased this with little doubt that it will do justice to what it is meant for because basically decresing brightness to negative value needs root access but this is really good that it is used to lay out a black layer over the display instead of decresing brightness.. No need of root access also... What ever.. It looks like decresing brightness of display.. So i will recommend this to who want to reduce stress over eyes..
Live this app. Just what I was looking for. I hate how it checks the license so often but it's worth it.
Dims the screen to almost nothing. It works very well
Omg yessss finally! No eye strain.... Update 9/6: I could do without the "license check" every time I open it. I'd also prefer a way to end the app without going into your phone's actual settings. Sometimes when I exit, my phone shoots to full brightness when I know for a fact I didn't have it that bright before using the app.
Yous saying it does it more is absurd.
Works on the s4 good so far
It fails licence check.
Perfect for movies
It works. No more brightness at 4am.
I have xiaomi redmi note it doesn't work
Constantly checks license. Tolerated for at least a year. No more.
License check makes this app useless. Even widget has a 1 to 2 second license check.
Perfect
It works. No more brightness at 4am.
Overall, I really like this app. I have always felt that screens don't go dark enough and this is a simple work around. A couple of issues: On Nexus 5 and 10, it doesn't dim the bar at the bottom. Also the notification button just launches app info, not a shortcut for adjusting brightness. Another useful feature would be a time based switch, so you can specify a time when you want it to go dark, say 9pm or when you plug it into mains. Please can you look at these issues/requests, thanks.
How do I turn it of..and any dangers to the screen ?
Applies a filter below 0%. Won't save battery. Removing.
It works. No more brightness at 4am.
Excellent
I can adjust the brightness lower than 0%

App functions but license check every time of use makes this app a drag, especially combined with poor connection a very annoying app. Please change license check every time. I never saw any app doing that.. Annoying, especially if you paid for it! Grrrrr
Why it botherts me with "checking licence" screen with every run? Annoying. Could have quick steps adjustments.
Can you please code it so it isn't for some reason always in my status bar? It's just really annoying.
The custom brightness never seemed to go dark enough. Perfect.

Nothing more to say...
Finally it's darker then 0! My i can see again!
Works great on my Acer Iconia A1 tab. To make it perfect it needs 1/ to be able to preset to a fixed level upon activation rather than having to manually do it everytime 2/ needs a presetable widget Go on Dev I know you can do it

Great idea but without dimming the nav bar useless. I enabled hiding the nav bar but that means I get blinded every time it pops up. OMOLED screens do very bright white!
