I was looking for free apps for the Jewish festivals and I thought I'd try this one. To Soya DiCaprio, theres another great app here in the Google play store, it's Shabbat Times, it lets you put the area you are in and shows you what time to light the Shabbat candles, it also lets you see more than a week in advance, you can't miss it, it has 3 Candles on the photo for the app, hope you see this message.

Does anyone know a similar app for Shabbat Friday eve candles?

Please, I would like to have the option to be able to touch the screen in order to make the candles lighted. Thank you. PS-I would very much like to compliment the cantor for his fine voice and singing skill; However, I would like to know more about the appropriateness or propriety (so to speak) about doing so, because to focus too much on such a thing may not be fitting--or because it may be inappropriate to bring more attention to the cantors voice rather than the content of the song/prayer (so to speak)

It's really good but the about on the app that tells you when next Chanukah is doesn't work so please fix

this is a great app that should have at least 1million downloads i mean its in hashems name this app was made it has beautiful music and gives blessings for Hanukkah nowadays a lot of people are against us the jews but when yeshua one day comes back theyll see the truth

Hanukkah App

My phone doesn't show it as an option

that includes Hebrew, English, transliteration and song. I am learning so I can bring Hanukkah celebration back into my aged step-fathers life.

I liked this on the iPhone too. The only issue is that it does not appear full screen on 960x540 pixel screen. I can imagine it will be the same or worse on a 720p screen.

This app loaded a virus onto my phone! Opens up threatening Web sites! Runs in the background even after you kill it.

this is great for hanukkah

This app would be even better if it knew what day of chanukah it is now, not just how many candles to light tonight. It is currently the 7th day but it shows all eight candles lit because we will light 8 tonight. I'd love to see it switch in the evening around sunset instead.
